The soap opera 'Winter Sonata' made this island famous. On the other hand it was nature-friendly place to go among Korean before the soap opera.

Nami island became island from the mountain peak, because the Cheongpyeong dam increased water level of the North Han river.

And once we go here, it is highly recommended to do enjoyable Rail Bike Riding and visit the Garden of Morning Calm.

These are recommended destinations but the itinerary can be customized by your interest and request.

Meeting Point

at your hotel in Seoul

- I will pick you up from your Hotel to start our enjoyable day trip to Gapyeong.

10:00 AM

Nami island

We will drive about 2 hours and arrive at the ticket office and ferry port.

Buy tickets for Nami island - cross the North Han river to Nami island.

Sightseeing for 2 hours including ferry riding, sightseeing and waiting time.

Things to see and enjoy are Beautiful trees, autumn leaves, snow, North Han river, many drama locations and photo zones in Nami Island(e.g. first kiss place, Metasequoia Tree Road, small fountain, river side view etc.). Tasting snowman pancake or sausage, marshmallow BBQ is also very exciting.

12:00 PM

A "Dakgalbi" restaurant

In this tour, the Dakgalbi for lunch is very famous and delicious. If you don't try, half of the tour is not done, it is Korean joke. But the guide is very flexible so that you can try any food you would try.

Lunch time for about 45 minutes.

Rail Bike or Garden of Morning

According to your request, you will experience Rail Bike or sightseeing to the Garden of Morning Calm.

Rail Bike is riding 4-wheel peddling car on the old rail road which has been the real rail road for passengers, small motor will automatically operate when the bike goes up(keep peddling slowly thought, not fast).

Carden of morning calm is beautiful garden with thousands of trees and flowers, this place is a beautiful and calm place to enjoy scenery and fresh air, millions of small lights in winter.

Other options:

Dumulmeori, Water fall, Petit France, Cafe.

Please tell me which one you would like to go/do.

This can be done before or after "Nami island", due to the local conditions.

We will hit the road to come back to your hotel at around 3:00pm.

(Coming back to Seoul will take 2 hours +- according to the traffic)
