I've been guiding family and friends in Mexico for over 30 years, arranging tours, van rentals, accomodation, excursions, archaeological visits, museums, etc., Now I completed my official general guide course in order to be certified by the government to guide national & international guests. I love my country, its culture, history, etc. and know a lot of interesting facts besides the normal guidance for tourists. I am a México City local who is in love with it. I love my whole country but I love my city more. I have studied International Relations and Mexican gastronomy and it's history. I work as a tourist guide and in films as a chaperone; in there my job is to receive and take care of foreign producers and actors. Among the task, I take them to eat, party and find stuff that doesn't exist ( yes that happens). As there are different requirements for this jobs I get to know the different parts of the culture, the exclusive, fancy, curious, popular, untidy; the whole ideosincrasy. I am a serious foodie, also enthusiast about, coffee, beer, wine, mezcal and pulque (prehispanic drink). I like to collect hidden jewels from my city and I also like to cook but preferably with the proper calm and telling the story and culture around the food. In order to have some balance I am sportively very active, I practice football soccer and rugby, also willing to go outdoors anytime. When I was about to enter to study I wanted to do something good for my country; this jobs are a great way to do it, I am proud to show my culture. I also like the fact that I get to learn from visitors, their way of seeing the world. It is very rewarding when visitors leave happy.

“Oskar was the highlight of our trip”
I traveled to Mexico City with a group of six people from the United States and United Kingdom. We utilized Oskar’s services for a historical tour of the city center and for a tour of Xochimilco. He arrived every day on time. His transportation was safe and comfortable. On each journey, Oskar made sure to hit everything that the group wanted to see. His passion from Mexico City, its culture, and its Art is unsurpassed. The group learned a lot and had a lot of fun in a large part due to Oskar. Highly recommend.
