During my childhood and youth, joined the boy scouts, played baseball and basketball with some local teams, but also i explored my city with a friend every sunday with our bycicles. After a some months our adventures continued to the outskirts of the city, discovering mayan communities and some cenotes where we got to swimm often. My first job in tourism was in the year 2007 as a driver for a tour company in Cancun city. In the year 2010 i've got my certification as a licensed tour guide. For the next 7 years through this fantastic job i had the opportunity to meet wonderful people from all over the world, and know many states, citys and small communities in this country. Mexico city, Puebla, Oaxaca, Chiapas, the Yucatan Peninsula and all the mexican caribbean, as well as other countries like Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belice and Cuba. Leading multiday tours as long as 2 months in a row with same group of travelers or multiple different travelers. Small groups as 2 people, but often groups of 18 to 20 people. Many stories, anecdotes and experiences have acummulated ever since. Bycicle tours as long as 2 weeks in the Yucatan Peninsula and in the mountains of Oaxaca, 9 seasons of swimming with whalesharks in the mexican caribbean, , many times snorkeling in the mesoamerican barrier coral reef, photography tours, scuba diving the blue hole in Belice, jumping and swimming in many cenotes, birdwatching, many mayan achaeological sites, camping, kayaking in wetlands of Sian Kaan biosphere reserve, river rafting in Chiapas, two season of monarch butterfly in the state of Mexico, etc etc.

“Two amazing Mexico City tours with Oskar (The Guía Excelente, Guía Mejor)”
This was our first time visiting Mexico City. We signed up with Oskar for two Day Tours, the Teotihuacan Pyramids and Basilica of Guadalupe Tour Day 1, and a custom Tepoztlan - Tepozteco Mountian Ruins Tour Day 3 of our stay. We were impressed with Oskar's engaging conversations, his passion for history - both Mexican and World, and his humor- even before we reached our first sightseeing site. Touring the historical and cultural sites with Oskar was spectacular. He has a very unique way of showcasing the historical, architectural and archeological aspects and facts - inter woven with art, culture, stories and folklore's, and different perspectives. He is great at keeping everyone interested and engaged. We so enjoyed the Pyramids and the Basilica of Guadalupe tour, that we signed up for a 5 hour Mexico City tour Day 2. It was wonderful touring the Cathedral, Murals, Templo Mayor Ruins, Architecturally rich buildings, and lots of other subtle and hidden wonders in the city with Oskar. The Tepoztlan - Tepozteco Mountain and Ruins Tour with Oskar was wonderful. The drive to Tepoztlan is very picturesque, its a charming town nestled in the valleys. The climb up Tepozteco Mountain is strenuous yet fun, and very rewarding with a visit to the ruins and amazing views of Tepoztlan. Oskar is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and passionate of Mexican History, Culture, and Heritage. He is very fluent in English, which is a big help. Oskar is charming, courteous, friendly, funny, kind, helpful and generous with his time (our tours ran overtime). We are vegetarian / vegan, Oskar went out of his way to get us good vegan food options. Oskar's driver Edgar is a very safe driver, courteous and friendly. They make a great team. In our daughter's words: 'Oskar is very knowledgeable about history, he knows all the back stories, he is fun to talk to and great with kids. He takes great photos! ' Highly recommend Oskar for your Mexico City trips!
