Arrival to Sesimbra Castle

After a short drive of almost 1 hour, we arrive to the Castle of Sesimbra for a short stop of 30 minutes.

Castelo de Sesimbra is a historic medieval fortress perched above the town of Sesimbra in the Setúbal District of Portugal. It’s one of the best-preserved seaside castles in the country and offers sweeping views over the town and the Atlantic Ocean.

The site was originally fortified during the 9th century under Moorish occupation.

Sesimbra is a small fishing and beach town on the Setúbal Peninsula in southern Portugal, part of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.

It sits where the Arrábida hills meet the Atlantic, giving it scenic natural beauty plus easy access to sandy beaches.

Sesimbra is a Charming old town with Cobblestone streets, traditional buildings, cafés, and local shops create a laid-back, authentic Portuguese atmosphere.

this stop is about 20 minutes to walk around, drink a coffee or enjoy the sights and take some photos..

Leaving Sesimbra and travel to Silves

At 11am we leave Sesimbra to start our journey of a little bit more than 2h30m until we get to our next stop in Silves.

Sillves Old Town and Castle

Arrive in Silves, for a stop of 1 hour.

Silves is a historic inland town in the Algarve with strong Moorish heritage and a well-preserved castle. Visit Silves Castle, one of the most impressive Moorish fortresses in Portugal, with great views and photo spots. Wander the quiet cobblestone streets around the castle and Silves Cathedral.

Leaving Silves at 2pm, we will do the rest of our journey to your final destination.
