Situated on the banks of the river Douro, Peso da Régua played a fundamental role in the production and sale of port wine, for it was from here that the barrels were transported in the Rabelo boats to Vila Nova de Gaia, where the wine was left to age in the local wine lodges.

“Fantastic Walking Tour”
Susanna was fantastic! Her vast knowledge of the city enhanced the tour and gave us one of our best experiences in Porto. “Incredible Tour of Porto”
I booked a private tour with Susana for a group of 17 people. We were in Porto for a company offsite and the tour was the highlight of the trip for us. Susana shared many incredible facts about the city and mixed in her own personal stories that made us feel at home in Porto.
