Meeting Point

Portela de Sintra Train Station

- It's the Portela de sintra Train Station, one station before the Sintra Final train station when you go by train. When exit the train turn to the left side where the buildings are. There is a car park and I will be there waiting for you.

Sabuga Fountain

This an emblematic fountain from 1757, where the locals like to come here to collect water and take it home. They say the water is Alkaline PH and rich in minerals.

Sightseeing Point

From here it`s possible to see the National Palace at the Historic Center and a beuatiful landscape, the ocean and coast line.

The Valley of the Lakes

The Valley of the Lakes is inside of Pena Park. There`s 5 lakes inside, and from the outside we can see one of them. There is a representation of the Moorish Castle in the middle of the lake.

Pena Palace

Pena Palace is the most visited palace in Sintra.The old Red Palace is from the 16th Century and the new palace , the yellow one from the late 19th Century. It`s a perfect spot if you like nature and walking. Pena Palace, where vibrant colors and eclectic architecture transport you to a fairy tale. Stroll through the palace's lush gardens, absorbing the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Historic Center

The Sintra Historic Center. Here the tourists can see the National Palace closer. It`s possible to visit the Regaleira Palace also , walking 15-20 minutes from here. The tourists can also try the typical pastry from sintra, the "Travesseiro" and the " Queijada". They can explore the impressive narrow streets and feel the vibe of the Historic Center.

Monserrate Palace

The Monserrate Palace. A palace that used to belong to a british , named Francis Cook, a wealthy man from the textile and art industry. It was bought to be a summer house or weekend house for the Cook`s family. Beautiful gardens with some parts dedicated to five continents. A movie about the Turkish revolution was also filmed here.

Apple Beach - Praia das Maçãs

Tha Apple beach is part of the Sintra`s Coast Line. I`m going to drive you alongside the beach and make a stop at a sighseeing point where you can see and feel the ocean very well. Praia das Maçãs is Located a short drive from Sintra, it`s a charming beach known for its golden sands and vibrant atmosphere.

Azenhas do Mar is a picturesque coastal village. It is known for its stunning cliffside views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, charming whitewashed houses, and the striking natural landscape that surrounds it. The village is characterized by its traditional architecture, with buildings perched on the cliffs and winding streets that lead down to the beach. These beaches are popular among both locals and tourists, making it a lively spot during the summer months.

Finally, the tour concludes in Cascais, a charming coastal town known for its vibrant environment , sandy beaches, and lively atmosphere. Strolling through the cobblestone streets, you’ll discover boutique shops, art galleries, and delightful cafes. I will show you everything in Cascais, the Camões Plaza, the Marina, the main street. It`s a nice place to enjoy it and to eat before going back to your hotel, and this where the tour finishes.
