Hello everybody! I am Nikos and was born and raised in the beautiful city of Thessaloniki, where I have been working as a professional licensed tourist guide ever since 2014. I have a background in history and archaeology but I do believe that a guided tour should be more than just that. A guided tour should also be about the anecdotes, the people who live there, the stories that do not fit into history books. So, hopefully, together we are going to explore the city, learn about the sights and monuments, understand the people and feel its beating heart! I have been working as a professional licensed tourist guide in Thessaloniki and all over Greece for a few years now, but every tour is completely different than the previous, and what makes it different is you! There is nothing like being outside, walking around with good company and showing the place you live and love, sharing to the people next to you the little secrets and unseen details that make it special. And if I can show you why this place is so special to me, then maybe it will become special to you too! I have a few tours planned but, please, do not hesitate to ask me about a customisable tour anywhere in northern Greece or maybe even more to the south. My Name is Naoya. I was born in Tokyo in 1952. After my graduation from Keio University, I joined a Japanese bank. Mainly I was assigned international business and stayed in London for three years. At the age of 52, I moved to a Japanese manufacturer company and had worked for 11 years. As a personnel manager, I engaged in hiring Indian graduates. Then for two years, I went to Tashkent in Uzbekistan as a JICA senior volunteer. I taught "corporate finance" at Tashkent Financial Institute in English.
