“Perfect afternoon exploration ”

Jaime was the perfect guide for us, mother and son. He was great at interacting with the 14 year old and also know to stand back when the teenager had his energy dips. We explored three neighbourhoods and a shrine and we managed to do all that in a quite calm tempo with several breaks for treats. Jaime showed us neighbourhoods, streets and shops that we would never had found ourselves and made the touristic parts of the visit (that we could have found ourselves) hassle-free. He explained how to manage the subway system and gave good ideas for the remaining days of the trip. Jaime is very nice and easy going. Travelling alone with my son, it was also really nice for me to have one day when I didn't have to deal with the logistics!

“Honjo Life Safety Learning Center”

We enjoyed our time with Jaime. Jaime recently accompanied me and my friends (3 adults, 1 child) to the Honjo Life Safety Learning Center. Thanks to Jaime’s English-Japanese interpretation skills, we experienced immersive simulations of earthquakes, typhoons, smoke, and floods with guidance in Japanese from the fire station’s employees. We got to know Jaime over a vegan lunch at Sasaya Cafe, where he helped me navigate the restaurant’s app. In the afternoon, my husband and I walked with Jaime to the location where the main character had lived in the Wim Wenders 2023 film “Perfect Days”. As Jaime had enjoyed the film as much as we did, this pilgrimage was meaningful for everyone!

“Best guide ever!”

Jaime met my family and me at our hotel lobby. He took us to everywhere he had planned for us and anywhere we wanted to go during the day. He was patient and kind. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. If you want someone for a day like this with anime and pokemon, he's the one you should book. When we come back, we'll use him again. Thank you, Jaime!
