About Tour Guide Yuji H.

This is Yuji, Japanese creator, such as painting, illustration, cartoon, and designing for Japanese magazine & advertising. I graduated from college in the US long ago. I used to work for Japanese publishing company for travel and Information magazine. I take lots of foreign friends to many places around Tokyo as a guide. I can take you common famous places, but also I can guide you if you have a special request, such as art, anime, table tennis or something belongs to your interest. For mostly I guide you by using the common transportation. but I also use my car to take you around for a small member of group because my car is so small, mini cooper.

“Absolute cracker of a day with Yuji”

Fantastic day, Yuji is a really accommodating guide. We deliberately planned a local guide for our first full day in Tokyo knowing it was going to be a lot. Yuji helped us buy whatever we needed, understand and catch trains, took photos, all the while helping us understand the real Tokyo and explore numerous places we wanted to see. Engaged so well with all members of the family individually and as a group. An absolute pleasure to spend the day with you Yuji San. Can't rate him highly enough. Thank you.

“Great fun exploring Akihabara and Nagano”

We had great fun in Akihabara and Nagano with Yuji. His English is excellent and he has a detailed knowledge of Japanese illustration, having worked as a creator in that industry. Yuji helped us navigate our way around the countless shops in Akihabara, helping us locate particular figures from older anime that my daughter and I were interested in. We also saw the ‘older’ side of Electric City. After that we went to Nagano where we browsed the book stores in Nagano Broadway.

“Beautiful night tour of Tokyo”

Yuji H was absolutely fabulous. He was early to pick us up which gave us more time to see Tokyo by night. He picked the perfect places to take us, with no crowds.

Actually it is crowded with tourists during the day, but at night there are fewer people and you can spend your time relaxing while enjoying the beautiful lighting, so I recommend going out at night.
