This is Yuji, Japanese creator, such as painting, illustration, cartoon, and designing for Japanese magazine & advertising. I graduated from college in the US long ago. I used to work for Japanese publishing company for travel and Information magazine. I take lots of foreign friends to many places around Tokyo as a guide. I can take you common famous places, but also I can guide you if you have a special request, such as art, anime, table tennis or something belongs to your interest. For mostly I guide you by using the common transportation. but I also use my car to take you around for a small member of group because my car is so small, mini cooper.
My schedule will be flexible, up to my deadline of works.
All tours can be customized for you. Send me a message with your requests!

“Tokyo to Yokohama City & back!!”
We travelled by car to Yokohama the ‘Creative City’. It’s a vibrant City which supports creatives with its affordable studio space, street art & eclectic programme of festivals & events, ‘Fringe’ festival was underway & we chatted with the organiser over coffee at YPAM Fringe Centre. Yuji made the trip truly memorable as he’d arranged for me to meet with young creatives in college. They shared their ideas, aspirations & dreams; it was such a privilege. We had a guided tour of this super facility by the Professor, we talked to the teachers & saw students work on display. It was brilliant. Walking through the City was a quiet & calm experience. Traffic is restricted & bicycles are a popular choice. There was so much to see; Yokohama Bay with its redbrick warehouse getting ready for Xmas! Looking in the cool galleries & workshops in the creatives hub. Delicious sea food in a local sushi restaurant was our lunch stop. Which included octopus! Ordering from the tasty menu, seeing food being created & passing before my eyes was such fun! Talking to people was a chance to make comparisons: Yokohama City & Tokyo each have their own style identity & unique qualities. Yuji was so generous in sharing the story of his role in Yokohama becoming ‘Creative City’ enabling the City Councillors to realise their vision supporting creatives & attracting international investment….& he was my guide for the day! How lucky am I.

Thank you for review, Helen san. I am so glad that you enjoyed your first stay in Tokyo. Even as a guide I really enjoyed seeing you had opportunities to talk with Japanese people in train, school and other places. I am hoping to see you again here or there someday. Please, take care of yourself !!
“Unique Tokyo such fun ”
Lucky me having Yuji as my guide to discover the unique city of Tokyo. We used the trains & buses to get around, always on time & spotlessly clean. We walked the vibrate streets, each with their own character, crossing safely with time to look & take in the happenings! Ginza, the Golden Gai, Shibuya, & Takeshita street, totally adorable, & everywhere in between. Got high on the feeling of peace & tranquility in a Japanese garden nestled in the modern city. Enjoying the autumn colours whilst drinking tea Japanese style. Experienced the famous & emerging sights that make Japan so special; kabuki theatres, the Meiji Shinto Shrine, fish markets. Glimpsed the innovative 3D advertising in Godzilla Street & Shinjuku. Had my photo taken in Akihabara standing next to manga favourites! and saw the work of the musical artist Mayea Deki! Awesome. Yuji guided me through some of the creative works on display: the sculpture & paintings of Taro displayed in his home & workshop(Okamoto memorial museum). Nezu Kaichiro’s collection (Nezu Museum) situated in a glorious garden. Trendy eyewear in the Omote Sandi Hills building. The stunning woodblock prints of Hiroshige & Hokusai, genius. The Suginami Animation Museum with the signatures of the creatives, anime 3D models & film. Enjoying the distinctive Japanese dishes reading from 3D menu’s & the quirky cool coffee places. Just a flavour of my time in Tokyo with Yuji; creating treasured memories.
