“Our Guide in Barcelona”

My wife and I hired Liliia for 3 days for our first time in Barcelona. Liliia showed us many great sites and introduced us to several cultural foods and items to sample and bring back home with us. She was very knowledgeable about the Spanish history and taught us a lot. Her English was very good and easy to understand. My wife is Russian and enjoyed chatting with Liliia in their native tongue. “It’s hard to overestimate”

We spent six wonderful hours with Lilia, spread over two days. In fact, it was more than six hours. Lilia gave us more of her time than originally planned, bringing the tour to a relaxed and unhurried conclusion. Everything was incredibly interesting. Facts alternated with interpretations, sometimes with small discussions. The conversation easily and naturally went beyond the scope of the tour itself, though never for long—Lilia skillfully and unobtrusively guided it back on topic and continued the tour. She knows a lot and knows how to explain it well. The tour was conducted in Russian. Choosing a Russian-speaking guide was a deliberate decision, as from our extensive experience we know that guides from a Russian-speaking background traditionally focus on conveying information and knowledge, whereas guides from other schools often concentrate more on emotions and very general information, avoiding dates and names. Lilia fully met our expectations, providing a great deal of specific information and showing us many concrete places, including some that are not the most obvious from a tourist perspective. Many thanks to Lilia. We can recommend her to anyone interested in rich, informative tours of Barcelona in Russian and English.

“Architectural tour of Barcelona”

I had a most enjoyable tour with Liliia. Her knowledge of Gaudi is astounding and she taught me so much about him and showed me many of his incredible works.
