Arnold is like a good pal trying to figure out what I would like to do while visiting Tokyo. We had many exchanges of ideas before the tour, and he also addressed other random questions I raised (from suica card, which telco has better coverage, where to get Japan limited sneakers etc). He knows the story of places we visited, took me to a nice sushi restaurant in Tsukiji fish market with a shorter queue, gave suggestions to my IG moments, and walked me to the dinner place even beyond the booked hours. I am glad we managed to explore Tokyo together, and grateful I secured his only slot in June (based on his high rating). Fluent in English and Japanese, can speak conversational Chinese, cat lover and accommodative. That’s a good pal you would like to hang out when you are in Tokyo.

“Super Fun Tour of Akihabra ”

I waited until I was completely home from our trip to officially write Arnold a glowing review. He is an absolutely fabulous person. From our first interactions online setting up our time together to the day we arrived he has and had been nothing short of super attentive and helpful. A little background... we booked 6 hours with him... as we were coming from another tour in Japan and had that amount of free-time before having to head back. What I especially enjoyed was Arnold’s flexibility and suggestions even on the day. We ended up at a Shiba Cafe (which was not originally in the itinerary). And worked out perfectly timing wise. My husband unfortunately came down with a horrible throat sickness before our tour. And Arnold took us to a drugstore and translated what we needed. Which was amazing and something that would have been very difficult to do on our own. I really enjoyed Japan and what we did in Akihabara, but most of it was experiencing it with both my hubby and Arnold. Consider yourself very lucky to book Arnold as your guide. When we come back in a few years we’ll have to get him again. Thanks again Arnold. We loved our time with you. Jen and Bryan.

“Great guide, knowledgeable and fun!”

Arnold was very professional corresponding with me several times to organise our time together and was prompt at arriving at our hotel. He provided several suggestions about places to visit and and was knowledgeable about the tourist spots we wanted to visit. He went above and beyond in helping to find a suitable pub to watch the rugby on a VERY busy Saturday afternoon too! He was instrumental in helping us find our way around on the public transport and made several suggestions which saved us heaps of time and cash! He gave us a very personal insight into a fascinating city and I would definitely recommend Arnold to young and old alike especially if you want to get that bit more out of your time in Tokyo.
