“Kahoko K. is an exceptional guide.”
My wife and I had four half day tours and one full day tour with Kahoko during our stay in Tokyo. She is a wonderful guide and a gracious Japanese lady who speaks excellent English. She is knowledgeable about the city, Japan in general, and the history and culture of both. She created great itineraries for each day, and also gave us excellent hotel and dining recommendations . Kahoko is highly recommended for touring in Tokyo. Jack C. (USA)

Thank you so much for the warm and encouraging review! I was wondering how your flight to Los Angeles was. For now, you probably have a great time with your tall boy's family, especially a cute little princess. I really appreciate you offering me good opportunities for 5 tours. I enjoyed every conversation during tours with two of you. My only concern is Debbie's condition. I do hope she will get well soon. Maybe the little one is the best medicine. Please enjoy a wonderful and relaxing time in California. I hope you a good health and happiness. Take care !!

“Another great tour with Kahoko! ”
We previously had 3 fun days with Kahoko prior to our cruise. I had arranged another tour with her at the end of our cruise before we were to fly home. Kahoko met us at the cruise terminal in Yokohama with her warm, friendly smile. We took at taxi to Haneda where "Coco" helped us arrange to store our luggage. Then she skillfully whisked us off to the Edo-Tokyo Museum which had only opened 2 weeks earlier. We spent a couple of hours there enjoying the wonderful exhibits, including an excellent collection of samurai armor. Then it was off to another delicious lunch before she guided us back to Haneda to retrieve our luggage. Not only that, she helped us get our luggage to the airline check in and then to the start of the security line. It was the end of our time together and we were so sorry to have to say farewell. Thank you, Coco, for another fun day, and for all the days we spent with you (and with Michie, too). If you book a tour with Kahoko, you will have a great time!

Thank you so much for the warm and encouraging review! I was wondering how you came back home safely with a good night sleep in the flat seats. As your husband looked a little tired after the long journey, I was concerning a little. It was an honor and pleasure to spend good 4 days with a terrific couple. Your profound knowledge about Japanese history and culture was highly inspiring for me. I need to learn more !! For now, you are going to get super busy for the moving. It needs enormous energy, but I know you two can not only manage it but also find something interesting in the tough and complicated process. When you completed it, you can start planning for the next trip. Michie and I do hope you come back to Japan sometime. Until then, please take care of yourself and stay cool and funny. Thank you very much again and good luck !!

Thank you very much for the kind review! As we walked a lot in crowded places, you must have been very tired. Still, you gave me a encouraging review. You are too gentle. I just hope you spend a relaxing time until your departure. Thank you again and take care !

Being a former student and staff member of the University of Tokyo, I have a natural ability to communicate with people from all corners of the world. Regardless of whether you prefer to speak English, French, or Globish with me ! I have practiced Aikido, Iaido (Katana), and Kyudo (Bow) martial arts, and I have also worked on the restoration of Japanese armor. Therefore, I am well-versed in the art of war in ancient Japan. But my passion for history goes further, and during my guided tours, I will share various anecdotes that will bring ancient Japan to life for you ! I'm also a huge fan of old Japanese video games, especially RPGs, so if you want a true otaku experience, follow me to Nakano Broadway and Akihabara! If you're interested in arranging a tour that's tailored to your preferences, feel free to send me a message !

Welcome to Japan! I'm Shin. I have been an English Guide in Japan more than10 years. I can guide Tokyo, Kanagawa and almost all metropolitan sightseeing and walking spots. I was born in Kobe, grown up in Osaka, and studied in Kyoto, so not only Tokyo but I also have a good knowledge of Japanese historical cities. I love talking about Japanese food & culture, walking quiet narrow streets, drinking tasty Japanese whisky, Sumo, Rugby & Sports, and Japanese mountains. I climbed Mt. Fuji 18 times with foreign guests. We enjoyed the auspicious moments of sunrising from the summit. I would like to support you to make your stay in Japan memorable and precious one.
