Mt. Takao Hiking Tour with local lunch
Mt. Takao Is a beautiful and lush mountain that is 600 meters in height. This is a light hike as well will take a cable car halfway up the mountain. You will have the opportunity to visit the “yakuo-in” a temple nearing the top of the mountain which you will be able to see some beautiful history about buddhist temples . Afterwards at the peak on a clear day you will be able to see Tokyo tower, mt. Fuji, or shinjuku skyscrapers.

“A+ Guide! KOHOKO WAS TERRIFIC. ”
The 2 days we spent touring Tokyo with “Koko” far exceeded our expectations. She took us to multiple locations based on our interests and detailed communication before arriving. Her knowledge as a Tokyo native went far beyond what anyone can find on their own. We packed so much into 2 days and loved the added convenience of having a driver. I worked for a machinery company as a project manager and engineer for mechanical and electrical construction projects both domestic and overseas for over 35 years. Until now, I have been guiding many beautiful guests mainly to popular sightseeing spots such as Asakusa, Tsukiji, Omote-Sando, Meiji Jingu Shrine, and Tokyo Skytree, and also cultural experiences of Origami making, Furoshiki wrapping, and Sushi cooking. I am happy that I can freely arrange a customized tour together with you, or can propose my tours to you. I want to show you some parts of daily Tokyo life and introduce you to Bunkyo City which is located in the heart of Tokyo, just north of Chiyoda City where the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Station are. The city is Tokyo’s typical residential and academic area where I was born, grew up, and live a happy life now. Now, we can tour around the world but have not yet overcome COVID-19 completely. Recently, the number of passengers wearing masks on public transportation in Tokyo reduced to some 25% but we should mind about it still. Please carry your mask to wear it where or when necessary (December 2024, Yamasan).
