“Fantastic teacher , hands on learning”
Five stars for Kanosan. What an amazing experience my wife and I had ; we really learned A LOT about sushi. The course through Tsukiji market, while brief, is packed full of information. It is hard to stay long because the environment is quite chaotic; people there are really doing lots of real work so being a tourist observing everything feels awkward. The amount of time you spend there is just the right amount without feeling like over staying. The content of the course was top notch. Be prepared to eat and learn all there is to know about sushi.. and you have to really give it your all as you will be exhausted by the end of it.

“Excellent Experience ”
Tetsuro worked with us to fit this into our schedule. The behind the scenes fish market tour was excellent and the sushi making class was perfect.

Kota A.
Hello everyone! My name is Kota. After graduation from a university in Japan I spent a year in Vancouver, Canada, on a working holiday. While working as a server at a sushi restaurant, I had many opportunities to interact with guests who loved Japan, while also learning about Canadian culture from them. Those experiences became truly meaningful to me, and now I would like to take on that role here in Japan—sharing the beauty of my country with visitors and creating unforgettable memories together. Tokyo is a world-famous metropolis, but beyond its well-known landmarks, it is full of hidden gems that are less crowded and waiting to be discovered. I would be delighted to explore such places with you and do my very best to make your trip to Japan a wonderful experience. Since I am originally from Hiroshima, I am also very familiar with Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Osaka. I would be happy to give you helpful advice if you plan to visit those areas. And if our schedules align, I would love to guide you around my hometown Hiroshima, as well as Shiga where I spent my student years, or even Kyoto and Osaka. Please feel free to reach out anytime! I enjoy watching soccer (especially Manchester United!), and I also like beer and whisky. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all :) P.S. I am not a licensed guide, but I work as a friendly guide. Rather than providing formal or highly specialized guiding like a school tour, my focus is on offering a more relaxed and friendly experience to help you enjoy your time in Japan. I appreciate your understanding.

Before becoming a full-time guide, I worked as an IT engineer, hotel receptionist, and manager of a maid cafe—experiences that help me connect naturally with travelers from many different backgrounds. 【Interests】 -Maid cafes and pop idols -Manga and anime -Art and architecture -Hot springs and public baths -Socializing and exploring great food 【Certifications】 -National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter -General Certified Travel Supervisor -Domestic Certified Travel Supervisor I am based in Tokyo but will happily arrange a tour only for your group, in area Kawagoe, Saitama, Hakone, Kamakura, Narita, Nikko, Shizuoka, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Chiba, Tochigi, Kyoto, etc. Please contact me!

Hi everyone! Hearty welcome to Japan. I’m Tomoko. I am an English-speaking licensed tour guide, and a registered nurse as well. “Fun Discovering Experience Walking like a Local!” – F-D-E-W-L! That’s what I suggest. 【Experiences】 My work history is as follows. 1) high school teacher ---12 years 2) nurse--8 years + 2 years as operational manager for Kamakura city vaccination team (during COVID period) 3) tourism related jobs such as tour conducting, guiding, and backyard supporting---10 years As a tour conductor, I’ve visited about 20 foreign countries (possibly yours?) as well as countless number of towns and villages in Japan. I’ve enjoyed these jobs while being a mother. Through these experiences with lots of people from different backgrounds, I've found it a great pleasure to share the joy of learning and experiencing something new! 【Guiding Areas】 <Basic> Tokyo, Kamakura, Hakone, Fuji, Yokohama, Nikko, and other neighboring areas from Tokyo I’m a specialist in Tokyo and Kamakura as I have lived and enjoyed walking a lot in those cities for decades. To be honest, even after all my years here, I still enjoy exploring like a tourist as Tokyo is such an enormous city with great diversity and is constantly changing. Kamakura is a historical small city with nice beaches and hills and lots of hidden spots of beauty. Almost every time I go out, I feel I’m still making new discoveries. That’s why I cannot stop exploring. I would take you to some neighboring areas like Hakone, Yokohama, Nikko, and Mt. Fuji area (Lake Kawaguchiko), etc. <Based on Requests > *if my transportation & accommodation are covered Nagoya, Kyoto, Nagano(Nagano city, Snow Monkey park, Kisoji trail, etc.), Hida (Takayama, Shirakawa-go), Kanazawa, Oita, Yamagata, Akita, etc. My original family is from Nagoya, so I know their culture and even their language(dialect) well. Later in my life, I have lived in Oita, Kyushu(far south west of Tokyo) for nearly 10 years and traveled a lot in Kyushu. I love traveling Tohoku, the northern Japan area, too. I’ve planned and enjoyed visiting many of those local areas in the north, too. So, I could share those experiences with you even while having tours in Tokyo or online. 【Personality and others】 - I love meeting people, listening and talking to them. - I'm friendly and caring, I hope:) - I love nature and enjoy hiking and skiing. - I love seasonal flowers and good local food. - You will see a lot about Japanese culture, nature, and lifestyle with me. What has made you decide to come to Japan, by the way? Is it its scenic beauties, exotic culture, history, food, anime, or what else? Is it your business that has brought (or will bring) you here? Let me have a clue and customize your tour. I will make the best tour suggestion for you. Why don’t you contact me now? I’m looking forward to seeing you soon! Thank you! Arigato-gozaimas!
