I am Gulay, I have been working as a professional guide since 2008, and have received my training at the Department of Tourism Guidance for 4 years. I moved to Spain for one year (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and worked as a volunteer and mentor in EVS organizations (European Voluntary Service) But then my interest in Japanese culture led me to my current carrier in Kyoto for 3 years. Guiding is my passion, I believe guiding for guests that you never met before from totally different countries is great chance to know people better to improve your skills. As your guide, I will be pleased to share my experience of guiding with you and will do my best to make your holiday a memorable one.

“Fun day shopping!”
Our time shopping with Gulay was amazing! She was easily able to hone in on exactly what I was looking for. We got to experience a few new areas of Tokyo, including Nakhon broadway, which we would not have visited without her guidance. Her English is so good, she is young and trendy and just very fun to be around. I could have easily done a whole day tour with her! She even pointed out some amazing food spots; thanks to her we had some of the best sushi after our day shopping. Thank you for the fun experience, Gulay!

My family and I were incredibly impressed with the care and attention to detail that Gulay displayed during our 2 days of tours. She was attentive and flexible to our needs, as well made sure to give everyone individual attention. We did one day city tour with her and then 2 days later we went on the vintage shopping tour with her. I was able to find and purchase a 1962 King Seiko watch due to her effort In finding a vintage watch store that sold them. I would highly recommend booking with her when you are in Tokyo.
