“Private tour with Gulay”
We had a great time with Gulay for our first day in Tokyo. We communicated prior to what we wanted to see and more important, not see. She took us on a tour that involved both the quiet settings of parks and temples but also a walk through some of the shopping areas including vintage clothing and bohemian artists. We had a great time with her. Highly recommend a private tour, she meets you at your hotel and takes you on the tour which for us lasted 7+ hours. Thank you Gulay!!!

“Shrines and Harajuki girls.”
We had a super day in Tokyo with Gulay heading to off the beaten track Shrines and buildings. She also educated a couple of Oldies in the Harajuki girls culture and their amazing clothing. We saw anime and dropped into the streets of the young. Gulay is a very informative guide and good fun to spend a day with. We would totally recommend booking her as your guide in Tokyo.

We found Gulay after my wife and I discovered Shimokitazawa. Gulay knew all the best places to go. My wife love vintage fashion, and the district did not disappoint. Couldn't recommend Gulay more. She was awesome and we'd ask her to guide us again in a heartbeat.

Once upon a time in Asakusa: Handicraft & Samurai
The Edo period, when Tokyo became the capital, is often seen as the peak of Japanese art and culture! Temple architecture, woodworking, woodblock prints, porcelain... I will use traditional handicrafts to illustrate the history and lifestyle of the people of Tokyo. Who were the samurai? What difference with a Ninja? How were armors crafted? I am also going to teach you all you need to know about those fierce warriors in front of a large collection of authentic weapons & armors.
