Hello, I am a retired captain of a commuter airline, with over 40 years of experience and over 22,400 flight hours focused on providing safe and comfortable travel. I have had the opportunity to visit various countries, including Japan, the United States, China, Taiwan, South Korea, and the Philippines.
After retiring, I worked as a volunteer guide for city walks in Kagoshima for eight years and obtained my certification as a certified guide for the World Heritage Sites in Kagoshima Prefecture. The joy of traveling overseas is getting to know different cultures, languages, and the unique lifestyles and food cultures of the people. However, what is most valuable to me are the memories made meeting people during travels.
During my career, I focused on safely and comfortably transporting passengers. Today, I aim to continue a job that brings travelers fun and memorable experiences. I am committed to being a reliable guide for everyone and providing memorable trips.
Please contact me with 2 days notice.

“Not our favorite tour”
Of 8 private tours we booked on a recent (cruise) visit to Japan, this was our least favorite. All 6 of us found our guide a nice guy who tried his best but was very difficult to understand. His English was heavily accented, his vocabulary more limited than other guides, and he spoke so softly that he was often inaudible. While we did all the things we planned to do, there was a passivity in the way he led the tour -- often not recognizing the group's desire to move on from a particular spot - which resulted in people wandering off on their own.

“Amazing Kagoshima historical tour with Moriaki”
I had an amazing full day Kagoshima historical tour with Moriaki. He was so kind and professional with his explanation so I learn to appreciate Kagoshima's historical past, especially regarding Saigo Takamori, Meiji reformation and St Francis Xavier's first mission here. Thank you for guiding me in this tour and I would highly recommend everyone to use his service in future.

“2 historic places, unfortunately on a rainy day.”
Despite the rain, we were able to gain insights into life at the volcano. We were also informed about the industrial development and the importance of this area for it in Senganen. The garden is very beautiful and absolutely worth seeing. We would have liked a little more time for the Senganen-Garten. Thank you very much for the individual planning and the personal and dedicated support.

(4 reviews)Thank you for joining me on the Sakurajima tour despite the heavy rain. I regret that it would have been even better if I had been able to spend a little more time exploring the wonderful Senganen Garden. In the future, I would like to make further improvements to the time allocation. thank you very much.
