I fell in love with Kagoshima the moment I set foot here, and it's been five years. I’m a national government licensed tour guide. Kagoshima is a perfect blend of stunning nature and rich culture. We can see the majestic Sakurajima volcano from the city to feel the powerful natural force. Kagoshima was home to major Meiji Restoration figures, so history lovers will find plenty to explore. And of course, the food is incredible—famous for Kurobuta (Berkshire pork), Satsuma-age (fried fish cakes), and Shochu (a local distilled spirit). I love eating, cooking, doing outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, and camping, telling stories of people who made Kagoshima what it is today. “Great guide soft spoken”
All great but Mr Moriaki voice is soft so recommend a small amplifier so you do not miss any of his wonderful knowledge The company not as highly recommended as we miss a port due to bad weather and they do not refund the fee Mr Moriaki recommended The company no unless they refund me the fee

“Perfect tour covering all we asked for”
Sini was the perfect guide for us. She offered helpful advice and communications before the tour to plan everything we wanted to do in the most efficient way. On the day of the tour she was prompt, knowledgeable and interesting with historical and cultural facts, moving us from site to site with grace and professionalism. With only one day to see Kagoshima, we are so glad we chose Sini!

Seeing you enjoy the Kurobuta pork shabu-shabu and the unique experience at Kamabuta Shrine was a highlight of the day for me! “An unforgettable day discovering the hidden gems of Kagoshima”
This tour was truly one of the highlights of our visit to Kagoshima. A big thank you to our guide Yaron for his warmth, knowledge, and wonderful hospitality throughout the day. We started the day with a relaxing sand bath and onsen, which was such a unique and refreshing experience. From there, the journey continued with many memorable stops — exploring the beautifully preserved Chiran Samurai Residences, visiting the deeply moving Kamikaze site, enjoying the scenic views at Lake Ikeda, and having fun at the flowing somen restaurant. Yaron made the entire experience smooth, engaging, and very personal with his stories and insights. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to discover the hidden gems of Kagoshima beyond the usual tourist spots.
