I fell in love with Kagoshima the moment I set foot here, and it's been five years. I’m a national government licensed tour guide. Kagoshima is a perfect blend of stunning nature and rich culture. We can see the majestic Sakurajima volcano from the city to feel the powerful natural force. Kagoshima was home to major Meiji Restoration figures, so history lovers will find plenty to explore. And of course, the food is incredible—famous for Kurobuta (Berkshire pork), Satsuma-age (fried fish cakes), and Shochu (a local distilled spirit). I love eating, cooking, doing outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, and camping, telling stories of people who made Kagoshima what it is today. “A Warm and Personal Day in Kagoshima with Sini”
We were two couples visiting Kagoshima for one day during our cruise stop, and Sini made the whole day very comfortable, personal and easy for us. She welcomed us warmly at the cruise terminal, and from the beginning everything felt relaxed and well organized. Together we took the ferry to the volcanic island near Kagoshima, where she drove us around and showed us the area in a very pleasant way. She also included some nice walking parts, so we could experience the places more closely. One of the special moments was when she brought us to a hot spring foot bath in a park, where local people come to rest and soak their feet. Sini had even prepared small towels for each of us, which was such a thoughtful and hospitable detail. Back in Kagoshima, she drove us through the city, took us to see the statue of the last samurai, and also brought us up to a viewpoint where we could enjoy a beautiful city view from above. Later, she helped us choose an interesting local restaurant, and at the end she brought us safely back to our cruise ship. Sini is a very kind, gentle and attentive person. We really felt that she wanted to give us as much as possible and make our day special. With her car and personal care, the tour even felt a little like a VIP experience — we could simply relax, enjoy the views and even have a beer along the way. We are very grateful for her kindness, hospitality and warm personality. We can highly recommend Sini to anyone visiting Kagoshima.

“Great experience with Eiji”
Had a wonderful time in Kagoshima with Eiji - going via ferry to see Sakurajima, going to the Observatory and enjoying a foot bath in the warm waters. Spent some time in Sengan-en followed by a brief tour in the Satsuma Kiriko Glassworks factory..
