First, we go to Senganen Japanese Garden. There are a museum, a residence of local leaders built in the 19th century and its garden created in the 17th century. “Sini is an amazing guide in Kagoshima ”
We had a wonderful day with Sini. She made sure we saw all the prominent sights in Kagoshima. We started with a ferry ride to Sakurajima; went to 2 observatories on Sakurajima; soaked our feet in warm volcanic water, and ate udon/soba noodles on the ferry back. Then to Sanganen Garden and Mount Shiroyama Observatory Park. Sini was great at explaining the history of all the sights. We highly recommend her!!!
