As a guide, I specialize in Hiroshima city downtown, Miyajima, Futaba no Sato, Onomichi, and Tomo-no-Ura. I also introduce secret photo spots and hidden gems. Using my experience as a nurse, I prioritize meticulous care and bring my natural brightness, aiming to provide a guide experience that allows you to fully enjoy Hiroshima.

“Five Stars for Rika. She is a great guide & we had a great day.”
Rika is a fantastic guide. She is very professional and provided us with a very memorable tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima Island. We also had a great lunch where we participated with the cooking. Rika also answered all of our questions and helped my daughter with her Japanese. I would highly recommend Rika for a tour if you are in Hiroshima. Thanks again Rika.

Thank you so much for your lovely message. Although the latter half of our trip was a bit rushed, I’m so glad we were able to enjoy some relaxing time in Miyajima together. It also makes me happy to hear that you had fun trying okonomiyaki as a part of the experience. Spending time with your wonderful family truly warmed my heart, and it was a very special time for me as well. Thank you again. Rika

“The best tour guide!”
A friend and I were lucky enough to book a private tour of Hiroshima with Rika. She took us on a thoughtfully planned tour of some incredible historical sites and gave us unique information at every stop. Rika has spent most of her life in the Hiroshima area so she is full of interesting bits of trivia and showed us places we never would have found on our own. She even took us to an amazing hole in the wall restaurant with a food specific to the area. It was such a great meal and gave us a super local feel which was really cool. I can't recommend Rika enough, this tour was definitely one of the highlights of my Japan trip! She was even nice enough to take photos for us along the way and added so many little touches that made the tour feel personal and special. Despite the difficult and tragic subject matter, this tour was a lot of fun and I certainly learned a lot about Japanese culture and history! 5 stars :)

Thank you for the lovely review. Although it was only half a day, I really enjoyed the time with both of you. Your interesting stories and warm smiles made it special. Hiroshima has a tragic history, but I’m glad you were able to experience more than just that and feel its true charm. Please come visit Japan and Hiroshima again someday! Rika

Naomi K.
Hello, I’m Naomi, a certified guide. I live in the peaceful countryside of Hiroshima, where I am a rice farmer, writer, and mother of three. Our family resides in a 200-year-old traditional farmhouse, surrounded by nature and history. I began learning English again at the age of 40, and although I don’t have much overseas experience, guiding visitors has become one of my greatest joys. Sharing Japan through my own eyes makes every encounter exciting and meaningful. I love welcoming people and building connections across cultures. If my hospitality can add a special touch to your journey in Japan, it would bring me great happiness. I look forward to meeting you—thank you!

Hello, welcome to my profile! I'm Keiko (Kay). As a national certified guide deeply passionate about the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of this area, I am eager to share these experiences with you. With over 16 years of experience living abroad, mostly in Europe, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in diverse cultures and meeting incredible people from around the world. I'm sociable, outgoing and love making new connections wherever I go. I'm also very active, enjoying sports like badminton, biking, jogging, and dancing, especially zumba and salsa. On top of that, I've been playing the piano for over *xx years, a passion that brings balance to my life. (The reason XX is simply because I hesitate to disclose my age...) Health and nutrition are important to me, as is the same to everyone, and I love exploring new ways to stay healthy and enjoy good food! Our itinerary will take us through some of the most iconic landmarks, as well as a few hidden gems that only locals know about. Whether you’re interested in exploring ancient architecture, indulging in the local cuisine, or learning about the fascinating history that has shaped this place, I am here to tailor the tour to your interests. Miyu F.
My name is Miyu. I have been a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter since 2009. I began my career as a tourist guide last year after working as a public servant for nearly four decades. I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.
