“Miyajima & Hiroshima with Mayumi: 10/10!”

Rain couldn’t dampen this incredible experience with Mayumi! It poured the entire day during our tour of Miyajima Island and Hiroshima, but thanks to Mayumi, we barely noticed the weather. Despite being wet and cold, Mayumi’s cheerful energy and deep knowledge kept our spirits high. She orchestrated every detail beautifully, constantly checking in on our needs and ensuring there was never a dull moment. Since it was a jam-packed itinerary, she expertly helped us prioritize the most important sights so we didn't feel overwhelmed. From the seamless pickup at the train station to the final drop-off, she looked after us completely. Mayumi is an incredibly knowledgeable guide, and even with the relentless rain, we never felt like we missed out on anything. She truly made our day special! Thank you Mayumi.

What touched us most is how such a profound human tragedy is not only remembered, but transformed into a meaningful message, present every day — one that speaks about peace, responsibility, and the importance of learning from our past. Beyond everything, it is a reminder of our shared humanity of what we are capable of, both in loss and in compassion, and of why it matters to carry these stories forward.
