In recent years, I have had more opportunities to travel within Japan, where I have been captivated once again by the beauty of its nature, culture, and cuisine and so on. “A fun day of culture and immersive Japanese dining”
We had a fantastic day with Fumie. Her communication was great and we agreed on changes to the tour to include sites and experiences that were important to us. Fumie met us at our hotel and she showed us around the temple, explaining what we were looking at and how to join in respectfully. We visited the cherry blossoms as well as shopping, café culture, drinks and sights - finishing with an authentic experience in a brilliant izakaya. Overall Fumie was knowledgeable, fun and a joy to travel Tokyo with.

“Trip for First-Time Visitors to Tokyo”
Our trip of a lifetime to Japan was made very special by having Fumie as our guide. She is so friendly and knowledgeable, her English is impeccable and she is great fun to be with. As well as sightseeing in Tokyo seeing beautiful gardens & blossom, Temples & Shrines, Fumie took us to Hakone/Lake Ashi where we also saw snow capped Mt Fuji. We travelled by train to Kamakura to see the Giant Buddha which is certainly worth a visit. Fumie was very helpful in booking tours/restaurants and also guiding us in booking tickets for the bullet train when we travelled to Kyoto, Osaka & Kanazawa. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I have got a master's degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the U.S. I have been living in a city of Fujisawa, which is the city next to Kamakura, for more than 20 years, and also lived in Kamakura for more than 10 years. So far, I have visited almost all the temples and shrines in Kamakura. So I am sure I can offer you a pleasant trip to the historical city, Kamakura. In addition to Kamakura, I can also guide Tokyo, Yokohama, Hakone, Nikko, etc. because I have visited many places in Kanto area.
