Hello, I am Yumiko, a government licensed tour guide. I was born and raised in Aichi prefecture. I have lived in Gotemba City at the foot of Mt. Fuji for over 35 years since I moved from Tokyo. Needless to say, Mt. Fuji is a symbol of Japan. It shows many faces depending on the seasons and time of the day. Many tourists visit here to see Mt. Fuji from home and abroad every year.
Gotemba is located halfway between Hakone and Fuji five lakes area. And it is easily accessible from Tokyo. You can come to Gotemba from Shinjuku in Tokyo by Odakyu highway bus or Odakyu limited express train without any transfers. Please visit attractive sightseeing spots in Gotemba, such as Chichibunomiya Memorial Park, Tokino Sumika and Gotemba Premium Outlets, the biggest outlet mall in Japan.
I love eating, chatting, traveling abroad and meeting people. And I enjoy tea ceremony and ballroom dancing.

On this tour, you ride two different ropeways and enjoy different views. If the weather is good, Mount Fuji can be seen from the ropeways. Cruising on Lake Ashi is also fun. The starting point of this tour is Gotemba station while it is Yumoto or Odawara station in the most tours. However, you can choose Hakone-Yumoto station as Ending Point. Your guide will take you to Hakone-Yumoto. You have lunch at a nice restaurant by the lake.
Enjoy Cherry Blossom Viewing in Gotemba Area - 7h trip ( 4/3-4/17 Limited Time)
You visit three or four famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Gotemba area and enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Fuji. Cherry blossoms bloom a little late in Gotemba area, which is located at a higher elevation. After the tour, if you would like to go to Mishima station where the Shinkansen (bullet train) stops, you can go there directly by free shuttle bus from the last tourist destination. It is about a thirty-minute or a forty-minute bus ride. Let’s enjoy a local tour like no other!
Enjoy Hakone-Sengoku Area & Open-Air Museum - 7h excursion <From Gotemba>
The feature of this tour is that the starting point is Gotemba station while it is Yumoto or Odawara station in the most tours. If you would like to go to Odawara station to take JR Line or Odakyu Line after the tour, you do not have to go back to Gotemba. I will guide you to Hakone-Yumoto station where you can catch the train to Odawara station. You visit popular tourist destinations and some places where not many people stop in at, such as Choan-ji Temple and an elegant cafe with atmosphere.
