I have been interested in intercultural exchanges and have visited many places locally and overseas alike. I have strong passion in Japanese history, culture, and geography. More than just simply showing you the stunning beauty of the places, I love to impart the cultural and historical value of each sightseeing spot.
The place I can guide tourists best is Kamakura which has major shrines and temples with historical and religious details. It can be fun not only to explore Kamakura from historical point of view but also experience various activities such as hiking, rental kimono-clad walking, and learning carving technique as well as soba noodle preparation.
I am flexible. My guide is unique and comprehensive. If you want to make the most out of your trip, I can show you around and make you experience Japan to the fullest. I can accommodate the tour according to your needs and preferences giving you a hassle-free, enjoyable and memorable tour. This is one day tour from Shinjuku Station to the area around Lake Kawaguchi. We take Fuji Panorama Ropeway to Mt. Tenjo to see Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. We visit Oshino Hakkai which is known for its crystal-clear spring water originated from the nearby Mount Fuji. Its eight ponds are formed from the filtered water of the mountain, creating a serene and picturesque environment.

“A wonderful day out with Macky”
Having Macky as our guide made the day so easy. He is informative, patient when we wanted to detour (for ice creams :)), and he has a great sense of humour. He handled everything for us so well and we really enjoyed our day out seeing the sights of Hakone.

“Group Outing to Mt Fuji”
Exceptional doesn’t describe our experience with Macky. When I booked our tour with him, he guided us through the process of booking Shinkansen tickets from Tokyo to Mishima (a group bucket list experience) and helped arrange a private bus for our group of 12. He met us at the station with a huge smile and provided not only great detail on the locations we visited, but also on the culture and customs of Japan. Macky was so great we joked that he had arranged for fantastic weather and an I encumbered view of the peak of Mt Fuji. The memories of the day will stay with us. I’m so excited to have a chance to show you around my favorite spots in Kanagawa prefecture. I was born in Kanagawa. I spent my whole school life, including university, here in Kanagawa. I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama. I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. Hallo alle meine Gäste! Vielen lieben Dank, dass Sie meine Profilseite besuchen! Ich heiße Ayami. Ich bin in Osaka geboren, aber in Yokohama aufgewachsen. Ich habe in Tokyo studiert, deswegen kenne ich mich gut auch in dieser Gegend aus. An der Uni habe ich Germanistik studiert. Mein erstes Mal in Deutschland war 2012, als ich Studentin war, und damals habe ich einen Monat in München einen Deutschkurs gemacht. Da habe ich viel erlebt und erfahrt und war total begeistert für die deutsche Kultur, Sitten, einfach alles, natürlich Leute auch :) Nach dem Studium bin ich nach Deutschland (München und Augsburg) geflogen, um richtig Deutsch zu lernen. In den Schulzeiten habe ich viele Erfahrungen in der Gastronomie gesammelt. In Deutschland habe ich als Kellnerin in einem japanischen Restaurant und Japanischlehrerin gearbeitet. Aktuell bin ich auch private Japanischlehrerin (ich habe auch einen Vertrag mit der amerikanischen Marine) und gelegentlich Reiseführerin. Mein Hobbies sind Reisen, Lesen, Kochen, etwas Süßes backen usw. Ich würde Sie sehr gerne Tokyo bzw Yokohama oder Kamakura und Yokosuka zeigen :)
