This tour takes you more closer to Mt.Fuji, visiting Fujinomiya, which is 30km east of Shimizu port. This city is located on the southern foot of Mt.Fuji, being away only 20km from the top. There are so many spots worth seeing gifted from Mt.Fuji. Also, the gorgeous view of the mountain is always at the side of you. For going to and from there, we can take the local railways, which must be a fun experience, too.

Seashore Excursion from Omaezaki. Kakegawa & Fukuroi
The Omaezaki Port is located in the middle of Shizuoka Prefecture. This area is still not so popular with overseas tourists but is filled with attractions. Mt.Fuji 5th station, a short hike of Ochudo & Okuniwa
The Ochudo, also known as Middle Road, was a special trail for ascetic practitioners that circled Mt.Fuji at the level of the fifth station. The trail is adorned by beautiful flora such as Japanese larch, Rhododendron, and Lingonberry and offers a majestic view of Mt.Fuji. The trail continues to Okuniwa, as Inner Garden which used to be a lateral crater. As it is named, pine trees and volcanic rocks create artistic landscapes by all nature.

“Relaxing & Great Tour”
Aside from the excellent weather we had, Moto took maximum advantage by taking us to the best spots to view Mt Fuji in all her glory. He took us to a secluded tea farm that offered majestic views of Mt Fuji & we were able to sample the fresh tea grown there. Lunch was at a very elegant restaurant frequented by locals which was simply delicious. Moto is a soft spoken guide who understood our desire to avoid crowded tourist spots. He was very flexible & was very gracious. I would highly recommend Moto to anyone who wants to explore the Shimizu region.

“Shore excursion from Shimizu port”
Moto met us at the port as soon as we disembarked and we were quickly on our way. Our excursion included the Kobayashien Tea Firm - Tea ceremony experience, Shiraito Waterfalls, lunch at a very nice local area restaurant, the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine and Mt. Fuji Heritage Center. We were very pleased with the selection of sites we visited and the information Moto provided at each of them. He is very knowledgeable and we found our time with him to be a very rewarding experience. THANKS, MOTO!

“The best day!”
Moto, our guide and the beautiful large comfortable van for 6 he arranged for us, took us to the beautiful lake I requested, close to Mt Fuji. Moto told me about a waterfall nearby that was spectacular and then to a sake shop for tasting. Last but not least, a ride up the mountain to see the harbor and town night view. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Day and Night in Shinjuku, Meiji shrine and Takeshitadori in Harajuku, Crossroads in Shibuya, Imperial Palace in the center of Tokyo, High brand shopping street in Ginza, Several Museums and quiet Forest in Ueno and Oldfashioned Nakamise and Sensoji temple in Asakusa. Of course, I can take you to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, Ropeway and Pirate Ship in Hakone, Shrines and Temples in Kamkura or Gorgeous Toshogu Temple in Nikko. Since I 've already done bus tour guide several times for H.I.S. and JTB, I can take care over 10 people at the same time around Tokyo using public transportation. I know well about Tokyo, Yokohama, Yamanashi etc. and I travel most of the parts of Japan. I would appreciate if you could see more sightseeing spots with me as your guide and enjoy your stay.
