A tour guide with Motoyuki is the best experience a newcomer (or even experienced) in Japan could ask for. We were a group of three friends, who wanted to live a full day in the area around Mt. Fuji and experience as much of it as it was possible. The communication with Moto was perfect from the beginning. As soon as we booked the guide, he asked as what it is that we mostly want to see. After one or two emails we came down to our itinary, which included 3 lakes, 2 caves and a short (20 - 30 Minutes) walk in Aokigahara Forest. We had also rented a car, which was entirely taken care of Motoyuki. Moto is a scholar of those areas and gave us many important and interesting information about each place we visited. His english is great and he is also a really fun person! After the tour, he took us to a traditional local distillery, were we were able to try many types of Sake and shop our own. We were 2 weeks in Japan, saw uncountable great things, but that sunny day in the Nature under Mt. Fuji with Moto, will forever be stuck to our memories. Thank you again Moto for everything! We will see you again, when we will reach for the top of Mt. Fuji! Arigato Gozaimas!
Hi Andreas san, thanks for a praising review. The day was really perfect for weather, itinerary and our friendship! I hope that you are coming back Japan soon and meet you again!
Moto-san is a fantastic guide, going out of his way to ensure everyone is content. Friendly, good English, careful driver, knowledgeable about the area, showing undiscovered spots and great fun to be around with. Cannot recommend anyone more than Moto-san!
Hi, Mark san. Thank you for a good review! Actually, your tour was the second one after long suspension due to the pandemic. Therefore I still did not remember exactly what I should do. However, I could manage it thanks to your all support. Great appreciation for you!
Moto-san's guide service and storytelling about Mt Fuji are both exceptional. Our train had a (rare) breakdown en route and was delayed by two hours. Moto-san kept up with our schedule, met us at the Kofu station and made the entire day memorable. The lunch spot was the best food that we had in all of Japan. Thank You for a wonderful time and great introduction to Kofu and Mt. Fuji, Moto-san!
Thank you for the review. I always wait for you to come back to Japan soon! Moto
Not only was Moto-san well-spoken and communicative, extremely knowledgeable and passionate, he also went out of his way to help accommodate our family. His flexibility and kindness made this the best day ever! We began the day in the Aokigahara forest, where he shared fascinating facts about the wildlife, history, and culture of the area. After lunch, he took us on a tour of four lakes around Mount Fuji. We were treated to spectacular views from multiple perspectives - something we would never have been able to do without a guide. He is also a great photographer and recommended lots of unique and beautiful photo opportunities!Throughout the whole plan, his detailed knowledge in geography and quiet excitement made us feel very comfortable and constantly engaged. Two instances stood out to us on this trip. As Muslims, we abide by a Halal diet. Moto-san went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary requirements. He brought us to a delicious halal restaurant near Lake Saiko. He also translated ingredients and ensured each item and condiment was permissible to eat. Additionally, our airline had lost our luggage, and he drove out of his way to take us to clothing stores around the area after the itinerary had ended. His kindness brightened up our entire trip, especially after the distress of losing our items. No matter who you are or what problems you face, Moto-San will do his very best to ease your mind. He is not just an incredible tour guide but a genuinely thoughtful and kind person. We wish you all the best in all aspects of your life, and hope to meet you when we come back to Japan someday! Arigatou gozaimasu Moto-san! Norsiah, Ameera, & Farooq Singapore ????????
