This tour takes you more closer to Mt.Fuji, visiting Fujinomiya, which is 30km east of Shimizu port. This city is located on the southern foot of Mt.Fuji, being away only 20km from the top. There are so many spots worth seeing gifted from Mt.Fuji. Also, the gorgeous view of the mountain is always at the side of you. For going to and from there, we can take the local railways, which must be a fun experience, too.

Seashore Excursion from Omaezaki. Kakegawa & Fukuroi
The Omaezaki Port is located in the middle of Shizuoka Prefecture. This area is still not so popular with overseas tourists but is filled with attractions. Mt.Fuji 5th station, a short hike of Ochudo & Okuniwa
The Ochudo, also known as Middle Road, was a special trail for ascetic practitioners that circled Mt.Fuji at the level of the fifth station. The trail is adorned by beautiful flora such as Japanese larch, Rhododendron, and Lingonberry and offers a majestic view of Mt.Fuji. The trail continues to Okuniwa, as Inner Garden which used to be a lateral crater. As it is named, pine trees and volcanic rocks create artistic landscapes by all nature.

“A great day with Moto-unforgettable”
Moto picked us up at the cruise terminal .We went to the mountains in a special Tea plantation.The teamaster made a special Matcha tee ceremony for us.It was a very quiet place ,only for us .No other tourists were there. Unforgetable! After this we went to a special japanese restaurant in Downton Shimizu-delicous japanes food ,very kindly people. Later we go to the top of the mountain to have a great view to the fuji. aA the end we visted a beautiful beach with a view to the view. Moto was always very friendly .We met us as strangers and left as friends

“Yamanashi Day Trip”
We had an amazing Yamanashi day trip with Mr. Motoyuki, visiting Arakurayama Sengen Shrine, Lake Kawaguchi, and the ice cave. He was extremely informative and knowledgeable, sharing not only details about each destination but also the cultural background and historical context that made the experience much more meaningful. His explanations were clear, engaging, and showed his deep understanding of the region. I highly recommend Mr. Motoyuki to anyone looking for a guided tour around Yamanashi. As he is originally from Shizuoka Prefecture and studied in Kanazawa, he is also well qualified to conduct tours in those regions.

“Yamanashi Day trip”
Right after exiting Kofu station Moto san, has been very thoughtful and informative on history and culture on Yamanashi. During the trip I have had an amazing experience that I will never forget from the views of Fuji, the lakes, and sake brewery. I would highly recommend him as a guide if you want to discover Yamanashi. I will definitely book with him again on my next trip to Japan.

I can guide in the areas of Yamanashi, Nagano, and the Greater Tokyo Area and more depending on your interests. Yamanashi is located at the base of Mount Fuji, so it is easy to visit there. Great views of Mount Fuji and strolling in the nostalgic areas of an old town are available. And also, the snow monkey park is not very far. However, the hardest part will be choosing which place and what you would like to explore. I am available for consultation should you need it. I was educated in Japan and the USA. I have a Ph.D. in Biology and I did my post-doc career in the US. I worked in the R&D and Quality Control departments in cosmetics companies and I was a laboratory manager for a vegetable seeds company in Japan. I grew Oriental vegetables for commercial purposes for a company in the UK. I was a rice cultivation assistant in Africa as a member of the Japanese Peace Corps. I usually play tennis with my friends every weekend and am tough enough to take you around everywhere you would like to visit in Tokyo area. I've studied at the university and worked for the company located in Tokyo total over 40 years, and so I know main popular sightseeing spots and fantastic spots though not so popular. Day and Night in Shinjuku, Meiji shrine and Takeshitadori in Harajuku, Crossroads in Shibuya, Imperial Palace in the center of Tokyo, High brand shopping street in Ginza, Several Museums and quiet Forest in Ueno and Oldfashioned Nakamise and Sensoji temple in Asakusa. Of course, I can take you to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, Ropeway and Pirate Ship in Hakone, Shrines and Temples in Kamkura or Gorgeous Toshogu Temple in Nikko. Since I 've already done bus tour guide several times for H.I.S. and JTB, I can take care over 10 people at the same time around Tokyo using public transportation.
