“Excellent guide to wonderful Istanbul”

My family (wife and two small boys under 8) visited Istanbul following a trip to Greece, and had arranged a private guided tour with Dilek to cover: Blue Mosque, Ayia Sofia, and the Basilica Cistern, as well as guiding us on walking tour from our hotel to and between the various sites. The tour was excellent. The intention was the for the tour to be specifically geared to our two children and I was worried about keeping their attention and making it interesting for them. We had experienced a couple of similar 'kids' tours' in Athens that were disappointing and not really for kids (despite the advertising), but Dilek's tour was a complete contrast: informative, genuinely calibrated to the two boys (she established great rapport with them, especially my eldest, and was very patient), educational (she was teaching and quizzing them!), and very enjoyable. Dilek patiently helped us with photos and was very tolerant and always friendly and helpful. I can strongly recommend Dilek as a guide for families like ours with small children: you will not be disappointed.

“An excellent tour choice”

Ali is a personable, well-informed, and extremely helpful guide. Our tour was a nice blend of being tailored to what we wanted to do and see and learning new things about the history of Istanbul and the Grand Bazaar. He was quite flexible about meeting our needs (we are slow walkers, plus had to be back in time to catch our cruise ship). A most enjoyable way to end our visit to Istanbul.

We booked a full day private tour of the Sultanmet with Serkan for my family of 4. He hit all of the Istanbul Big 5 as we asked, the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topika Palace with Harem add-on, and Grand Bazaar. What surprised us was his efficiency. He got us the tickets without having to join the long cues, and headed straight for the best spots in each location for pictures. My kids were super impressed with his phone camera skills, he's got some neat skills. Didn't make us waste time shopping when we weren't interested. He's one of the best guides we've had travelling around the world.
