Ian F.
I am a lawyer, historian and official City of London and Westminster tour guide. Introducing guests to the splendours and secrets of my hometown is my passion. I try to make my tours a mixture of fun and fact (with some of the facts being funny and some of the fun being factual). I would love to arrange a private tour that will make your visit to London truly memorable. All of my income from tour guiding is donated to charity - currently World Jewish Relief's Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

Simon W.
Hi, I'm Simon, a born and bred West-Countryman, living in Bath for the past 25 years. I have a passion for, and a great knowledge of, local history, topography, wildlife, nature and the local fields, lanes, walking-trails and hedgerows we have in profusion, here in the Cotswolds and in the Bath area, not to mention the wonderful food and drink this area EXCELS in. They say former journalists "end up knowing a little about a lot" and my interests are extremely widespread. As a former TV Producer/Director of programmes on everything from food to house-restoration you will find me the perfect companion on your travels in Southern England I am the lead Tour Guide for a local company, and my reviews stretching back three years are exceptional on several different websites.

Deborah M.
I am an art and architectural historian. I have worked at the National Gallery and other Museums in London and abroad. I moved to the University city of Cambridge over 35 years ago, lecturing at the University museums, researching and delivering a great variety of courses to locals and visitors alike in the adult sector. Art is my passion that continues to feed my own learning, which I love to share with like minded people. I aim to entertain and educate but above all communicate my own sense of wonder and joy in the world around us. The redemptive power of creativity has never been more vital and desirable in our lives than it is today ! I am keen to motivate, challenge and engage, sharing my knowledge and experience with others. I have organised many short and extended trips around England and abroad for adult students to visit sights of artistic and historical interest over the last 25 years. I am indeed privileged to enjoy my role as a tour guide in such a unique city like Cambridge I have high expectations of myself and always aim to create a high quality, personalised experience for travellers. My reviews are all 5 star ! I have a B. A. in the History of Art with French, an M. A. in Material culture & the built environment, a P. G. C. E. in Art education in Art & Design & T. E. F. L. I have trained town and museum guides locally. My research is ongoing and I am always writing the next chapter ! My tours will give you the benefit of my many years of knowledge and experience and as someone who understands the locality and will take you to the heart of its story. You already know the unique value of the authentic experience. You have arrived at Cambridge, your destination, but now the journey can truly begin, so let me reveal to you what makes this city worth visiting ! Hopefully you will depart enriched by the experience and excited to share your special memories back home.

Manuel S.
Hello! I am Manuel, an experienced and professional tour guide with extensive knowledge of the historic city centre of Cambridge. My walking tours describe men and women whose ideas and actions have affected nearly every area of human endeavour. It is very likely that someone from your region or country is already in this city to either work or study. How can that be possible in a city of less than 150,000 people? Come to one of my tours and find out. I will ensure that, no matter your background or age, your visit to Cambridge is a memorable experience. I hope to see you soon!

When I first arrived in London, it was a city full of old, beautiful buildings that meant absolutely nothing to me. I was not 'born and bred here', but I chose to make this city my own. I dived into a history of people who lived and shaped London. Turns out, they also lied, made mistakes and were very, very randy. London was shaped by scandals, and I found the best ones to tell you. I am a qualified London tour guide and a storyteller who is ready to take you around from the iconic landmarks of London to hidden alleyways and streets off the beaten path.

I am a qualified London tour guide with many years of experience of touring guests around this great city. I bring a huge amount of knowledge, enthusiasm and fun to my tours. I love showing this city to guests from around the world, including the highlights but also the hidden gems.

Paul V.
Here's a little more information about myself. I'm a born and bred Londoner and have lived and worked within this great city for the majority of my life (the exception being a 4-year stint in Switzerland). Previously working within Royal Mail followed by the Global Foreign Exchange Markets. I am now a fully qualified London 'Cabbie', qualified taxi guide, and offer private and personal tours of London and beyond in an ICONIC London black cab (not just any London Black Cab but the new Zero Emission Capable Electric Cab), neither of which I ever thought I would be doing, but I can wholeheartedly say two of the best decisions I have possibly made in my working life. Firstly becoming a 'London Cabbie' gave me the new challenge and freedom I needed and then from there getting involved in offering tours, I honestly fell in love with my hometown again whilst doing the knowledge, and showing the sights of this fantastic city and creating wonderful memories on my tours is hard to beat. My aim is to give YOU the tour that YOU want when YOU want, always keeping in mind that it is YOUR vacation and YOUR memories, and to show you the history of London (and beyond), both the famous and lesser-known sites in a fun and relaxed manner. Please take your time looking at what is available in the tour section, but always remembering that my aim is to tailor each tour to YOUR own needs and requests. Remember it's . . . YOUR time, YOUR tour, YOUR memories! Licensed London Taxi Driver, having completed "The Knowledge of London" Qualified London Taxi Guide (accredited by the City University) I do not hold a Blue Badge so I can accompany you inside the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey but sadly I cannot guide inside these historical sites.

Barney N.
Hi, I'm Barney. I have 14 years of experience guiding guests around Scotland, taking day tours out of Edinburgh. Whether I take people on scenic tours, or to historical sites like castles, or whisky tasting, I'm reminded every day that I really do have the best job in the world, in my favourite country in the world, and I'd like to share that with you. I was born in Edinburgh, and graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2008 with a history degree, so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to Scottish history. But I also consider myself a storyteller, and my main job is to entertain you, so please don't feel that you're going to get dry lectures on history and culture. You don't need to remember a single thing I tell you, so long as you enjoy yourself. Also, please don't feel constrained by the standard tours I offer. I have many years of guiding experience, so if there's something you want to see that's not listed, just send me a message through Go With Guide and ask me to create a personalised itinerary just for you, which I'm always happy to do. Professional Qualifications/Memberships: - MA (Hons) History from University of Edinburgh - PGDE(S) from University of Strathclyde - Membership of SITOA (Scottish Independent Tour Operators Association)

The Cambridge years of C S Lewis
This 1.5-hour walking tour covers the years that C S Lewis spent in Cambridge in the 1950s and early 1960s. We shall walk some of the streets he walked, listen to some quotes from his books, and for those who are willing, even talk about some of the topics which interested him. Lewis once said "I can’t imagine a man really enjoying a book and reading it only once.” This tour will show you that C S Lewis was more than the famous author who wrote The Chronicles of Narnia. “Exploring Bath with Simon”
This was our first trip to Bath and we wanted to make sure we didn't miss any of the secrets. Simon was great in communicating with us in discussing times, options, meeting points and advice for things to do outside his tour. We discussed opportunities to extend the 2 hour tour to make sure nothing was missed and Simon left extra time available for us so he could further detail the history behind the amazing sights. Simon was a pleasure to work with. Was so knowledgeable and informative. This was by no means a rehearsed tour. Simon encouraged conversation and kept us engaged. We enjoyed every minute with Simon and would not hesitate to highly recommend him if you want a nice walk and an informative deep dive in to the history of Bath. When we return to UK we would love to have Simon show us the Cotswolds. We feel like we made a dear friend in Simon and the time he spent with us surpassed our expectations. Thank you Simon and truly hope we see each other again (soon). Bob & ReNee
