Your guide will start the tour with some history about the historic area you'll be exploring tonight. This was once one of London's poorest and most dangerous areas, full of narrow dark streets and with lots of criminal activity.

You'll understand why this became the perfect hunting ground for Jack the Ripper...

Over the next couple of hours, your guide will walk you through these atmospheric parts of London's East End, following a route that shows you all the places where the Ripper committed his horrible murders.

From Buck's Row where his first victim was found to Orman Street where the last victim was discovered, you'll see the locations and get a feeling for the fear that gripped London at that time.

Along the way you'll see;

– The places and buildings where his victims were murdered and found

– Streets, buildings and alleyways that have hardly changed since 1888

– The pubs and buildings where his victims drank, worked and lived

– The doorway where Jack the Ripper’s only clue was discovered

– Police photos of the victims and evidence.

During your tour, you'll be learning all about the Ripper's crimes and seeing important clues that have fascinated people for years.
