With a drive of 2hrs by highway from Lijiang city, We will arrive Shaxi old town . In this trip, we will experience those together ! 1) You will uncover the history of ancient tea horse road between Yunnan& Tibet . 2) Enjoy the cozy time in the last living old town in the ancient tea /horse road. 3)Taste traditional food of Bai people. 4)Visit Shibaoshan Mt, where you can see hanging temples and Buddhism grottoes from 10th century.

Shaxi old town
Shaxi belongs to Jianchuan county, Dali. 2hrs by car from Lijiang, A traditional Bai ancient village on the ancient tea and horse road, It's one of the 101 endangered ancient building site in the world, Known as the last living ancient town in the tea &horse road. traditional cultures were well protected, many boutique hotels and cafe are newly opened, It's a nice and cute old town to explore if you visit Dali or Lijiang.
Shibaoshan mountain
Shibaoshan mountain belongs to Laojun mountain range, which is the oldest mountain range in Yunnan, even older than Mt. Himalaya, mountains are rich in red sand rock, after the erosion of nature, the rock became very unique landscape- the landforms just looks like the back of tortoise, We will visit famous site on the mountain, include shizongsi(the stone bell temple) and the beautiful grottoes inside. You may see some wild monkey on the mountain.
