China Private Tours & Local Tour Guides

“**An Unforgettable Day in the Future of Shenzhen!**”

We only had one free day in Shenzhen, so we decided to book a private guide with Miaomiao W. for her “One-Day Shenzhen Tour”. She wasn’t the cheapest option, but our time was precious and we wanted to make the most of it — and we are so glad we chose her! It was a fantastic day from start to finish. We visited a place where we could see all kinds of robots in different shapes and forms, actually flew in a flying car (such a fun experience!), travelled in a self-driving taxi, had a drink delivered by drone, and even watched an amazing drone light show. Miaomiao was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and having her with us made the whole experience so much more interesting and enjoyable. If you want to discover the high-tech and futuristic side of Shenzhen, we can highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Miaomiao, for a fantastic day! Esther & Lee

“Guide’s Reliability”

Engaging the services of Ms Heidi Lee for my Shenzhen was the best decision. She speaks English which greatly helped me and my travelling party. More than that, she is a very reliable and professional guide. She helped to plan, according to our desired preferences, co-ordinated and led the group of us during the entire trip. She is also very friendly and approachable.

Dear David, Many thanks for your kind review! I really appreciate your nice words. It was such a pleasure guiding you and your group around Shenzhen. I’m glad everything went well for your trip. Look forward to seeing your family again should they visit China. Best, Heidi

“History and architecture”

Our tour with Xavier was exceptional. Xavier's background is in urban planning and his passion is history of Chinese culture, architecture and engineering. This has led him to work on Chinese Ministry of Culture directed projects of historical significance, which in itself is fascinating. Xavier's command of English is accomplished, he is patient, empathetic and above all, guest focussed as he constantly seeks to identify your subjects of interest. I chose Xavier for this tour because of his self assessed passion for Chinese history and architecture and it is certainly true. I recommend Xavier highly and in particular, suggest you book him at the beginning of your trip to Beijing as his insights provide an important foundation for the rest of your time in this amazing city.

Dear Heather, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review. I truly appreciate your kind words and your support. I also really enjoyed the time we spent exploring Beijing and our conversations along the way. It was a pleasure to share some of the city’s history, architecture and cultural heritage with someone who was so curious and engaged. I’m especially glad to know that the tour gave you useful context about the city. That is exactly what I hope to offer through my tours — not simply visiting individual sights, but helping guests understand how they connect to the wider history, architecture and culture of the city. Thank you again for your generous review. It was a pleasure meeting you, and I hope you left Beijing with many wonderful memories. Warmest wishes, Xavier
