Aswan dam was built at 1960 to generate electricity and to protect Egypt from the Nile flood seasons.
Visit Philaie temple
We will use a motorboat to move to the temple because its located on an island. It’s considered to be one of the best temples in Egypt, dedicated to goddess Isis.

“Full day in Luxor ”
I can't recommend Abdullah enough! Our day exploring Luxor. He was very professional and hired a driver for the day. Started off at the airport to pick me up and offered coffee right away. The car was very nice and clean and driver was very good about driving slow and safe. He knew everything about the places we visited, from the Valley of the Kings (which was very busy when we left so im glad we got there early) to the Temple of Hatshepsut. Next was Medinet Habu. Then I requested a quick bite to eat that was local, we stopped for great fresh made egyptian style falafels. Just watching them being made was a highlight for me. And of course, Karnak and Luxor Temple were amazing, and Abdullah really brought them to life with his explanations. I really liked how he gave me whatever time I wanted to explore on my own. It was also helpful that he gave me tips on how to navigate the local merchants. Always support local!
