Tour Important Information
Tour Timing: The tour typically starts at 8:00 AM, but the start time can be adjusted upon request.
Accessibility: The tour involves some walking and climbing, which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Interior Access: Entry into the Red Pyramid involves navigating a steep and narrow passageway; those uncomfortable with confined spaces may choose to explore the exterior only.
Cultural Sensitivity: While visiting religious or cultural sites, please dress modestly, covering shoulders and knees.
Safety Measures: The tour vehicle is equipped with air conditioning and safety features for a comfortable and secure journey.
Photography: Photography is allowed at the pyramids, but tripods may require special permits. Drones are require special permits too.
Booking Confirmation: Early booking is recommended, especially during peak travel seasons, to secure your preferred date.
Weather Considerations:
Summer (May to September):
Expect high temperatures, often exceeding 35°C (95°F) during the day.
Wear lightweight, breathable clothing, and consider bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
Stay hydrated; bottled water will be provided, but bringing extra water is advisable.
Winter (October to April):
Daytime temperatures are milder, ranging from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F).
Early mornings and evenings can be cool, so bring a light jacket or shawl.
Sun protection is still recommended, as the sun can be strong even in winter.
Please note that entry fees to the Dahshur and Meidum archaeological sites must be paid by credit card only. Cash is not accepted for these fees.

“Amazing and impressive tour!”
We have had a great tour to the Piramids. Mohammed can tell you all about the history in not too many words. Is very flexible about where to go with the tour. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend going on tour with him if you want to see Cairo! Offers a wide range of different tours around Cairo. Speaks pretty good Dutch too, so if you are Dutch, don’t look further!
