You cannot climb on any of the pyramids as it is both forbidden and dangerous.
Egypt can get very hot during the summer months, so ensure that you carry plenty of water with you.
To protect yourself from the harsh sun, wear sunscreen, and carry sunglasses or a hat.
Wear comfortable shoes as the desert sands can shift, and you need to walk around a lot.
Be wary of unauthorized camel drivers and touts and stick to your guide If needed you can approach the uniformed Tourist Police for assistance.

I was born and educated in Cairo where I got a degree in Egyptology from Cairo University in 1993. Since then I never stopped studying.
