Starting from the south slope of the Acropolis we will make an introduction to history and mythology of Athens, we will see the most ancient theater in the world dedicated to Dionysus and we will ascend the hill.Discussing about the most important monuments of the acropolis hill. We will see the renovated temple of wingless Nike, the gateway (Propylaea) ,the complicated Erechtheion temple and the epitome of the classical times, the Parthenon.Then we will proceed to the ancient market ,the beating heart of the ancient city, where philosophy and democracy meets.Walking in the ancient agora, we will have the possibility to admire the best preserved temple dedicated to Hephaestus.

Entrance tickets (The cost of entrance to the Acropolis is about 20 euros and is good for the other sites in the area including the ancient agora, theatre of Dionysos, Kerameikos, Roman Agora, Tower of the Winds and the Temple of Olympian Zeus)

-It is recommended to buy tickets online before the tour so that we avoid the queue and further delays at the ticket desks.
-If you get a discount, be sure you carry the documents needed (student card, age,)
-Sun Hat and suncream are necessary between May and September.Comfortable shoes and water as well all along the year.
-Please do not carry heavy things, big backpacks that are not aloud and expensive things.
-Eating, drinking and smoking are not allowed inside archaeological sites.
