Venice Piazzale Roma - main car terminal
You will meet your professional driver at the main car terminal in Venice known as Piazzale Roma (Rome square). The meeting place is at the NCC (chauffeur service) parking area.
You will visit a dairy farm that for generations lives and works with nature. It evolves and develops with the modern production technologies attentive to environmental sustainability. The cultivation with careful and respectful management of their land provides the best products and known provenance of animal feed which have always been bred with dedication and passion. For years this family farm produces the milk that is treated in a modern and functional dairy. Their goal is to emphasize the goodness and wholesomeness of dairy products of the past. In this atmosphere, you will have time to taste their products.
This is one of the oldest European firms producing liqueurs and spirits. By the way, a liqueur of this important distillery was one of the ingredients that Ernest Hemingway has used to create the Daiquiri cocktail. Even today you can find the birthplace of this cocktail at the El Floridita bar of Havana, Cuba.
This is a young family-owned farm that decided to use part of their land to grow the saffron flowers. Today, they are able to propose high-quality products made by this red gold spice.
In the afternoon an estate winery will welcome you to taste their wines. This place is located between vineyards, along a slight slope that rises from the plain to the hill.
You will end this day excursion visiting a ham and sausage factory, located in an area famous for the production of the ham recognized by the European Union which has to respect very strict standards: the "Prosciutto Veneto Berico-Euganeo".
