Before being a tour guide I spent most of my career working in the banking industry for almost 30 years, starting with Korea First Bank which later became a US based Newbridge Capital and UK based Standard Chartered Bank until I retired in 2016. My experience in the banking industry was very much customer-first and dealing with the public which laid the cornerstone and passion to becoming a tour guide. After retiring from the bank, I worked as a lecturer for a volunteering organization run by the local public office and taught students about the environment and disabilities. With various experiences and personal management skills, these challenges have provided a real life, hands on cultural nuances which will promote friendship and expand life experiences between different cultures. “Our guide made miracles happen!”

Emoch went above and beyond what we would have been expected. At the last minutes, a friend joined my group and we needed a ticket for the secret garden which was Sold Out. Enoch made many calls and then went to the palace ticket office in person in the early morning to wait on line, hours before our tour start time to procure a ticket for us. He is a miracle worker! We had a wonderful day visiting the secret garden, other palaces and main attraction in Seoul. I hope you will be lucky to have Enoch be your kind. He is kind, thoughtful, smart and will do everything in his power to make your trip memorable.

Six-Hour Intro to Seoul and Korean History

“Two full days exploring modern and ancient Seoul with a terrific guide.”

David knows ancient and modern Korea and Seoul. We learned about the political history of Korea, its relations with the US and neighboring Asia countries and North Korea. He told us about the economy, birth rates, social customs, religion, palaces, emperors and kings, geography and lots of practical aspects of modern Korean life. We have toured in many countries and David’s was probably the best. Strong recommendation for those interested in an incredibly well rounded and intelligent scholar, historian and raconteur.

We had a really amazing tour with Jeeseon! She was responsive on the app and very easy to communicate with. She’s personable and we just enjoyed spending time with her. Super plus that she knew all the greatest spots and tool nice family pictures of us. Jeeseon had great recommendationsfor the other parts of our trip and also for skin care! she tailored the tour to be at a pace at my eight-year-old daughter would still have fun and not get bored. Highly recommend!!
