Before being a tour guide I spent most of my career working in the banking industry for almost 30 years, starting with Korea First Bank which later became a US based Newbridge Capital and UK based Standard Chartered Bank until I retired in 2016. My experience in the banking industry was very much customer-first and dealing with the public which laid the cornerstone and passion to becoming a tour guide. After retiring from the bank, I worked as a lecturer for a volunteering organization run by the local public office and taught students about the environment and disabilities. “TWO FANTASTIC DAYS OF TOURS IN SEOUL WITH SALLY K”

We booked two days of tours in Seoul with Sally day 1 historic tour of Seoul, day 2 modern Seoul, we were we totally blown away by Seoul as a city, and Sally was a really amazing guide was incredibly knowledgeable took us to all the sights we would never have found or known about ourselves, having discussed prior to our trip what we would like to do and tailoring exactly to suit our needs, her English was excellent, and as my husband had a knee injury arranged for a very comfortable car and driver for both days of the tours, I would highly recommend using Sally if you are looking for a guide in Seoul.

“Tour with Kwan around Changdeokgung Palace and Seoul”

My family and I had an excellent full day tour with Kwan. He first picked us up and took us to the Changdeokgung Palace, where he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Palace and Korea. He answered all our questions and we all learnt so much from Kwan. We also went to a food market and tried Korean market food which was delicious and made seamless with Kwan’s recommendations and ordering- something we would have be unable to do without him. Further we explored the traditional Hanbok village and had great conversations together over coffee. We highly recommend Kwan as a tour guide - he put together an unforgettable day in Seoul for our family. We would definitely go on a tour with Kwan again! Thank you so much Kwan.

“Highly Informative and Fast-Paced Seoul Experience”

We had a fast-paced and engaging tour of Seoul with Paul, with a strong focus on Confucian culture in Korea. Our itinerary included Gyeongbokgung Palace, the National Folk Museum, Bukchon Hanok Village, and the National Museum of Korea. The tour offered deep insight into how Confucian philosophy has shaped both historical and modern Korea. Our family of three, including a teenager, thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was able to keep up with the pace throughout the day. This tour is best suited for those interested in history and cultural depth rather than a leisurely, photo-focused sightseeing experience or a slower pace. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and brings each site to life with detailed explanations and context. Overall, we would highly recommend Paul for anyone interested in an in-depth exploration of Confucian culture in Korea.
