“Tour of Andong and several Se Wons”
We met Kwan J early in the morning at the Cheongyangi train station and traveled two hours on speed train to Andong. Beautiful ride with nice accommodation. We enjoyed our day with Kwan J. He speaks good English, and as advertised he made sure that everything was taken care of. It was a long day of walking and sightseeing, but Kwan J was quite knowledgeable about the Se Wons we visited and the history behind them. Andong has a beautiful countryside with much farming done in the area. A small town with many historic sites to see. The landscapes were beautiful, but I enjoyed most the tranquil nature of the area. Also enjoyed the Village of Hahoe and the small community that exists there. Much history in it. We walked so much that I was starving for lunch. The Mackeral was excellent along with ban chan dishes served. Kwan was a good tour guide for us and we enjoyed spending our day with him. He had good English skill so we communicated well. It was a looooong, tiring day but a very memorable part of our quick visit to Korea. It was well worth the money.

Hi Liane, It was truly a pleasure guiding you both—such a lovely Hawaiian couple! I really enjoyed our time together and appreciated your warmth and curiosity throughout the day. I also learned so much about Hawaii from you, which made the experience even more enriching for me. I hope the rest of your journey is filled with wonderful memories and joyful moments. Wishing you all the best on your adventures ahead! Warm regards, Kwan

“Best Guide on Our Trip!”
Finn was by far the best guide we had on our trip. He showed us Busan with knowledge, humor and flexibility! His command of the English language was excellent! He not only spoke English well, more importantly- he understood us and our questions and requests. As we wanted to deviate from the original itinerary and not go to the shrine, Finn made a great suggestion and took us to the beach. We walked along a special trail along the coastline that was very beautiful. Afterwards, we had a lovely tea in a traditional Korean cafe. It was delicious. From there, Finn drove us to the fish market where we marveled at the abundance of seafood varieties. He helped us order lunch on the second floor. He accompanied us as we walked through the other parts of the market and showed me where to buy beauty products. All day, I barraged Finn with questions about his life and culture and he was a terrific sport and shared a lot about South Korea and its culture as well as a little about his personal life. We really enjoyed our conversations with Finn. He also took us to Gamcheon Cultural Village and explained the history behind these colorful buildings. Then… off to finish off our tour riding the cable cars. We enjoyed the day so much! I highly highly recommend Finn. He is the best!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed your Busan tour with Finn. He’s always flexible and truly cares about giving our guests the best possible experience. I’m glad the change of plans worked out perfectly and that you got to enjoy the beautiful coastal trail, the traditional tea house, and the market. Hope to see you again when you visit Korea next time! – Dylan :)
