Before being a tour guide I spent most of my career working in the banking industry for almost 30 years, starting with Korea First Bank which later became a US based Newbridge Capital and UK based Standard Chartered Bank until I retired in 2016. My experience in the banking industry was very much customer-first and dealing with the public which laid the cornerstone and passion to becoming a tour guide. After retiring from the bank, I worked as a lecturer for a volunteering organization run by the local public office and taught students about the environment and disabilities. Chanie is an awesome guide. He knows the really good spots you won't find from youtube influences. We just decided to trust him, and boy did it work out. Some of the best food, most interesting experiences, and most beautiful relaxing scenery you'll ever find. He's cool too, easy to get along with He'll go fast to lots of places, or as we preferred, slow down and really soak in a fewer places. I can't recommend enough.

“Highlights of Busan ”

Dylan organized our day with his tour guide Jake. Our day was spent visiting the popular Buddhist temple, a ride up the cable car, a walk on the suspension bridge, Gamcheon Cultural Village,a visit to the International marketplace and fish market, and ended at the Momo coffee roastery. Jake was EXCEPTIONAL in sharing his knowledge of the city, its culture and the importance of change over the years as it redeveloped after the Korean War. Thanks for an AMAZING day Jake.
