We will taste great Portuguese dishes that thousands of locals eat every day yet don't come across in other countries. We also get to know the origin and recipe of the dishes. We visited several locations, so we had the opportunity to discover sights during the walk.
Rossio Square, at the corner of Rua dos Sapateiros, under the Arch of Bandeira
Where we try a typical salty snack.
Where we taste the most popular fast food with a beer.
We cannot miss the famous Portuguese liqueur.
We share tapas meals and enjoy some local wine or beer.
We finish the tour with sweets and coffee.

We travel with a small group of 2-6 people, so there is always an opportunity to chat and ask questions. At the beginning of the tour, we mainly walked, we ate our meals on the street, as the locals would do. In the second half of the tour, we visited a tavern to try some typical dishes.
Our meeting place is at the edge of Rossio Square, at the corner of Rua dos Sapateiros, under the Arch of Bandeira. The statue in the middle of Rossio square looks right at the arch, which is a yellow building. I will have a "Tour Guide Attila" sign hanging around my neck, and I usually wear a green baseball cap.
Portuguese national cuisine contains pork, alcohol, gluten, and other allergens. Since shared meals are also included in the program, it is difficult to solve individual needs within a small group without affecting our fellow passengers. A pork-free or vegetarian tour offering a similar experience can also be organized, but in this case, please contact me before booking.
Other start times are possible, but due to the capacity of some locations, prior consultation is required.
