No matter how much time you have to visit Lisbon, from a few days to a few hours, the number one "must-do" is taking in the spectacular highlights of Lisbon City Center. In this 3 hour tour, we will see the top sites Lisbon Downtown, Praça do Comércio, Ponte 25 de Abril, Belém, towards the seaside of Oeiras and Cascais, historical Sintra and more - all in a vintage kombi a Volkswagen T4.

Baixa is the downtown area of the city. Crossing Baixa, we will get a feel of the architectural features of the city.
We will drive through Chiado wich became the trendy part of the city in the 19th century. It was where the French style shops could be found. We will also be in front of some of its historic and famous shops, such as Bertrand and Brasileira.
And of course Bairro Alto well known for its bohemian lifestyle, for it was where journalists could be seen at night for some of the most important newspapers were seeded here, since the 18th century. Nowadays it is where one of the city’s nightlife spots not to be missed.
Praça do Comércio is the entrance gate into the city and a square full of symbols history to discover.
Driving through Sé historical church, the oldest church of Lisbon that began its construction in the second half of the twelfth century, after the conquest of the city from the Moors by D. Afonso Henriques. Then construction of the cathedral was apparently done in the place of the old mosque of Lisbon.
And of course. the castle of São Jorge, located in the old medieval citadel, that was inhabited by the Moors who fortified it for their defence. When D. Afonso Henriques (Portugal´s founding King), took the castle in 1147, after besieging it for 3 months, expelled the Muslims and opened the castle doors to Christianity.

I will share with you the stories of its rise to fame in the 15th and 16th centuries as explorers set out on maritime conquests. This Golden Age of Portugal is reflected in the architecture and I will be here to answer any questions as we continue to explore.
We'll head towards the Jerónimos Monastery, where you can have a look at the extravagant Manueline architectural style that came to define this city. You'll also experience their wonders in the Belém area, with a stop at the Belém Tower and Monument to the Discoveries.
Along the panoramic road over Estoril, we will make a short stop in Cascais for you to admire this beautiful city and head to
- Guincho dunes and the natural park Sintra/Cascais.
- Cabo da Roca, europe's most western point.
A quick return through IC19 and a view of the suburb to Lisbon City Center and your Hotel for a drop-off.
