A day tour, departing from Lisbon, heading to Fátima, to visit the sanctuary, and then Batalha Monastery, Nazaré (having lunch) and Óbidos castle. A private tour, on a comfortable mini-van trip, only 1 hour and half from Lisbon. We will take you through our history and culture, and also giving you free time to enjoy.

- We will meet downtown Lisbon around 7h40 or 7h50 for uptown locations. We will pick you up at your hotel, or at a nearby meeting point, in case we have no parking access.
Fátima sanctuary
The site where holy Mary appeared to 3 little sheppards in 1917... An unforgettable visit, icon for all catholic, but also non catholic, an important date in Portugal's history. Come to see and feel the peace around the holy site, visit the sanctuary and know what happened during the several apparitions, over 100 years ago.
Batalha Monastery
Batalha monastery is one of the most beautiful and iconic gothic monuments in Portugal and Europe. To the Portuguese it means keeping their independence, back in 1385. Come for a visit and know the history: family, bravery and future!
Nazaré
Nazaré was only a fishermen village and beach destination, when a few American surfers discovered its beauty and unique potential for extreme surfing. Amazing views, nice people, a few legends from hundreds of years ago, and giant waves (season normally from November to February). Also time for a nice lunch
Óbidos castle
Óbidos is a medieval village located inside a castle wall, built over 1.000 years ago. You will only believe its beauty if you come and see with your own eyes. Time to enjoy the amazing little streets inside the castle walls, with a few shops and little cafés. Maybe time to enjoy Ginginha (cherry liqueur)...

“Wonderful trip to Sintra & the nearby coast”
We worked with Nuno to tailor a tour to our liking for a day from Lisboa to Sintra and back along the coast. He speaks fluent English, has a good sense of humor and possesses strong knowledge of the area and the monuments. There was a train strike that day and he expertly maneuvered heavier than average traffic, allowing us to visit the famed Pena Palace (must see, but go early as we did) and the beautiful grounds and palace of Regaleira in Sintra. He also recommended a wonderful seaside restaurant for us to have a leisurely lunch of fresh fish. We passed through Cascais but did not spend time there and had no regrets about our choice to dine elsewhere. Nuno's communication prior to arrival was excellent with prompt responses to every query from our group of 6. We thank him for a fabulous day and highly recommend Nuno for your next visit to Portugal.
