Pena Palace, exterior guided tour
Guided visit to the Pena Palace grounds. The Pena Palace is the last royal palace of Portugal, before turning into a republic. It represents the 19th century Romanticism in Europe, being the only romantic palace in Europe with a sea view. You will be amazed with its unique architecture and spectacular views. The palace is en eclectic mix of architectures, incorporating Renaissance, neo-gothic and neo-Moorish influences, that together will give you a view of “a thousand and one nights”. A beautiful and relaxed experience.
Sintra
After Pena Palace, a short drive to go to the center of Sintra. Here will give you family time, and you can either stay in the village and enjoy the wonders of this beautiful medieval little town, view the National Palace or walk to visit Quinta Regaleira (tickets not included).
Cape Roca
After enjoying Sintra, we will meet again, to take you to Cabo Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. A 15 minutes stop to take pictures, enjoy sea breeze, and relax.
Cascais
As we leave Cape Roca, we will head to Cascais, with an amazing view along the coast. Cascais will surprise you, with its sophistication of a place where the royal family spent part of their summer, but still what remains of a little fishing village. Time to have a nice lunch or enjoy the views.
Estoril
A quick view of Estoril, by the coast, as we return to Lisbon. A charming little town, where James Bond got some inspiration - we will tell you all about it, on the way back.
