I'm Hiroyuki. I was born in Osaka, central city in western Japan, and when I was college student, lived in Kyoto, previous capital of Japan, and now live in Tokyo, current capital. I have worked for a global company for about 30 years. Working with international members gave me the opportunity to communicate with people with different cultures, and sometimes the opportunity to guide the spots of interest to them. I found it interesting to show Japanese interesting spots to the guests, such as the wonderful things, strange things, mysterious things, marvelous things. For the past few years, I tried to improve ability to communicate with people from abroad. Recently, Japanese history intrigued me. I’m really into finding historical places, local favorites, and unique systems in Japan. In the tour pages, I am introducing tours in Tokyo and tours in Kyoto and Osaka. I include the orthodox sightseeing places. However, you could also specify some unique local places. Information about local spots and local foods such as Ramen, Udon would be interesting to you. My name is Masayuki currently living in Kyoto. Everyone casually calls me Massy. I grew up in a bilingual ( English / Japanese ) background. I am a new entry in here, but I am already very well experienced in hosting and guiding. I like to explore things to discover all the hidden beauties and treasures off the beaten path and share with others. I would only show you to the places you really need a guide with no information in English. If you are interested in things truly unique known only to some locals, I am the one. I like to explore in nature and show my footsteps to everyone to discover new hidden ground. It is almost my natural instinct to avoid crowd. I am not into ordinary tourism of Kyoto because I don't want to be another one of them doing the same guide in Kyoto. I want to show you to a true state of sacred and beauty which is unharmed by commercialization and over-tourism. My itinerary cuts off overrated attractions from the view point of a local. In Kyoto I mostly write about places never been introduced in English. I am not a licensed tour guide interpreter, but I have different field of knowledge to introduce things. I am more of an English-hosting guide without strict business manner. I am a professional in writing introduction pages mainly for north parts of Kyoto in English. The courses are my own creation since I am the original one to write in English. I am a very open and friendly person who can communicate in English nearly as good as a native speaker. I was in Canada and U.S. I once took a leading role of an international community as well as being an English teacher. My wife is from Ukraine often assisting me to host my guests.

My name is Taka. I was born and grew up in Koka City, Japan, where the world famous Koka Ninja’s birthplace is. Koka City is just one hour away from JR Kyoto station by train. As a matter of fact, I am a descendant of Ninja/local Samurai. My family name represents the most powerful Ninja/local Samurai clan among the Koka’s 53 Ninja clans. There are twin Castles of my ancestors in my neighborhood. When I was a college student, I was interested in foreign languages and cultures, and I studied abroad at a university in Ohio, USA as an exchange student for one year. After graduating from a Japanese college with a BA in English, I worked for a prefectural government for 31 years, and I made an early retirement in March 2023. During my service to the government, I was chosen as a Visiting Official in Michigan, USA, which is a sister state of my prefecture, and I stayed there for 2 years as the government’s representative. I have totally 3 years of living experience in the USA, and am able to speak English now. Since I am retired from the government, I decided to start a new career as a Ninja tour guide for foreign travelers in my hometown. There are Ninja House, over 180 medieval Ninja related castles, shrines, temples, Ninja’s training mountains, and more in Koka, however no one had done the tour guide for foreigners until now. As I am able to speak English, I thought I should start a new job as a Ninja tour guide, and would like to contribute to my hometown Koka.

When a child I quite often visited world-famous Himeji Castle. So it's like "MY castle." As a student, I lived in Kyoto for four years. Hi there! I’m Alex Before ending up in Japan, many years back, I had a nomad life across several Asian countries for many years as well. There I also met my wife, and when the relationship got more serious we decided to settle down and have a more stable life, we chose Japan where she is from. Since then I had many personal experiences in this country in different fields such as human relations, jobs in different sectors, trips, bizarre situations, etc, experiences that I always like to share, together with some knowledge about aspects of the culture that I studied for years, just for the sake of getting knowledge without thinking that I would do this activity later on. Kyoto had been a capital city in Japan and the emperor's residence from 794 until 1868. So there are a lot of historically important places in Kyoto. You must see them. And Osaka is the largest city after Tokyo and it’s one of the most popular tourist destinations in Japan. There are a lot of attractions in Osaka such as neon lights at night, delicious local food, modern and trendy shopping streets, the amusement parks. I studied Chemical Engineering at a University in Osaka and have worked in Japanese manufacturers. I have been to more than 30 countries as business trips. I have multiple jobs right now. One is a mediator and the other is an English teacher. After working for some life insurance company for about 40 years, I got a job for some Family Court as a mediator and I enjoy helping those who get in trouble. I also teach English for beginners, especially for TOEIC TEST. I love music. When I was in university student, I was a conductor for a male chorus. Since then I have been really into Opera. Hello there :) My name is yakir and I'm a tour guide in Kyoto. Before settling down in Japan I've traveled in many Asian countries and for me a big part of any trip to Asia is visiting the local shrines and temples. Some people are enjoying the night life or restaurants but I'm looking for the atmosphere in an ancient temple where the incents have been burning for hundreds of years and monks are going in silent concentration. Kyoto is the temple capitol of the world with more than 16,000 different temples and shrines hidden in the city and I just love to find and share the beauty and magic in them.
