My Name is Naoya. I was born in Tokyo in 1952. After my graduation from Keio University, I joined a Japanese bank. Mainly I was assigned international business and stayed in London for three years. At the age of 52, I moved to a Japanese manufacturer company and had worked for 11 years. As a personnel manager, I engaged in hiring Indian graduates. Then for two years, I went to Tashkent in Uzbekistan as a JICA senior volunteer. I taught "corporate finance" at Tashkent Financial Institute in English. I got the guide license in 2017, After I came back to Tokyo, I am working as a volunteer guide, especially in Shinjuku. I hope to create special and deep tours in which tourists are interested but by now they were not able to gain access to. For example; Visit to various Universities, Visit to narrow streets in Tokyo, Visit to feel Edo (Now and Then) My hobby is playing the guitar. I hope we are in peace through music. I usually play tennis with my friends every weekend and am tough enough to take you around everywhere you would like to visit in Tokyo area. I've studied at the university and worked for the company located in Tokyo total over 40 years, and so I know main popular sightseeing spots and fantastic spots though not so popular. Day and Night in Shinjuku, Meiji shrine and Takeshitadori in Harajuku, Crossroads in Shibuya, Imperial Palace in the center of Tokyo, High brand shopping street in Ginza, Several Museums and quiet Forest in Ueno and Oldfashioned Nakamise and Sensoji temple in Asakusa. Of course, I can take you to 5th station of Mt. Fuji, Ropeway and Pirate Ship in Hakone, Shrines and Temples in Kamkura or Gorgeous Toshogu Temple in Nikko. Since I 've already done bus tour guide several times for H.I.S. and JTB, I can take care over 10 people at the same time around Tokyo using public transportation. I have been in Tokyo(downtown side) since I was born. For three years I have traveled in 57 countries and worked in Bolivia for a year. When I traveled in Maya's ruin, I was really impressed that my guide told me not only the information about the ruin but also how to live in Guatemala, how to earn and the political problem etc... A guide is a diplomatic entrance to the country, I think. From this experience, I would like to give you what I have to every customer. Having been worked as an elementary school teacher in Japan, though I know the educational issue as a strong point, now I work as a tour-conductor traveling around Tokyo area. I used to hike around the world, of course in Japan. Northern Japan Alpes, Southern Japan Alpes, Yatsugatake mountain range and Mt.Fuji. The highest one for me is Mount Cotopaxi in Ecuador with 5892m. Another strong point is that I can hike with you. También tengo experiencias del senderismo en Japón y en algunos países. El Cotopaxi de Ecuador es una montaña mas alta para mí con 5897m de la altura. I am a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter living in Yamanashi Prefecture. My name is Yuji. The area of Mt. Fuji is actually part of Yamanashi Prefecture. Tourists to Mt. Fuji area are not necessarily aware of that. Mt. Fuji as the highest mountain in Japan is on the border of Yamanashi and Shizuoka prefectures. In Yamanashi sit the 2nd highest mountain, Mt. Kitadake and the 3rd highest mountain of Mt. Ainodake. Yamanashi faces no sea and capital city of Kofu is in the basin area. I grew up in Yamanashi until high school and then I studied and worked in Tokyo Metropolitan area. I came back to Yamanashi at the end of 2002. During my working days for companies including Harley-Davidson Japan, I had sharpened my English and communication skills. I had some opportunities to escort executives or employees of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and I have vaguely been thinking how rewarding it is to guide people. Now I have clear prospect about guiding. After I came back to Yamanashi, I have also developed further enthusiasm about hiking in mountains and exploring the nature. If you are interested in any special type of hiking such as hiking to see snow capped Mt. Fuji, I will be the perfect fit to arrange. I have many hiking experiences including several times to Mt.
