Private Outdoor Tour : Bike & short Hike Exploring the nature of Mt. Fuji
Welcome to Mt. Fuji! This tour, I will take you to 2-hour bike ride around one of the five lakes at Mt. Fuji + 1 hour short casual hiking, expected to visit a panoramic viewpoint. Ideally, we will enjoy this activity at Lake Yamanaka. The location could be changed by the client's request and weather conditions on the date. You can also request me to customize the tour such as 2 hours bike + 3 hours hike etc. This is guide tour and all equipment required for this tour is included in the price.

“Great day with Ryohei and Fuji-san”
Ryohei was amazing. He was so helpful to work with before our trip, offering suggestions and info as I tried to make our ideal list of stops. That day, he recommended that we flip the itinerary to maximize chances of seeing Mt Fuji. We were lucky with on and off views, and he added a couple of extra stops as we went along as he got to know our interests. Would 100% recommend him!

Ryo was the best guide. With his knowledge of the place as a local and his always smile he showed us around and adapted on the go to our needs and expectations. He was very patient with our son and made a great tour which could also attract his (short) attention. “An amazing day at Mt Fuji with Reyohei”
Reyohei planned the perfect day exploring the beauty and wonder that mt fuji had to offer! Even after I broke my foot before my trip Reyohei creatively revised our itinerary so we could still spend the day in nature while being accessible for me and fun and engaging for my 10 year old Daughter. I can guide in the areas of Yamanashi, Nagano, and the Greater Tokyo Area and more depending on your interests. Yamanashi is located at the base of Mount Fuji, so it is easy to visit there. Great views of Mount Fuji and strolling in the nostalgic areas of an old town are available. And also, the snow monkey park is not very far. However, the hardest part will be choosing which place and what you would like to explore. I am available for consultation should you need it. I was educated in Japan and the USA. I have a Ph.D. in Biology and I did my post-doc career in the US. I worked in the R&D and Quality Control departments in cosmetics companies and I was a laboratory manager for a vegetable seeds company in Japan. I was a research scientist in New Zealand for a short time. I planned the industry tours for foreign specialists and guided them to the corresponding enterprises. I grew Oriental vegetables for commercial purposes for a company in the UK. I was a rice cultivation assistant in Africa as a member of the Japanese Peace Corps. I visited Iran, Iraq, and Syria as a member of a goodwill mission organized by the government. After retirement, I have been a tour guide. I accompany guests on offshore trips from cruise ships. I can arrange walking tours in the Aogihara Forest area including lava caves like the Ice Cave and Wind Cave, and also strolling tours in the nostalgic town of Yamanashi.
