Private Outdoor Tour : Bike & short Hike Exploring the nature of Mt. Fuji
Welcome to Mt. Fuji! This tour, I will take you to 2-hour bike ride around one of the five lakes at Mt. Fuji + 1 hour short casual hiking, expected to visit a panoramic viewpoint. Ideally, we will enjoy this activity at Lake Yamanaka. The location could be changed by the client's request and weather conditions on the date. You can also request me to customize the tour such as 2 hours bike + 3 hours hike etc. This is guide tour and all equipment required for this tour is included in the price.

“personalized tour for a group of 3”
Ryohei was our tour guide for a group of 3 including a teen,he was well prepared, very knowledgeable and so accommodating of our schedule and very punctual. treated everyone with respect and considerate of our dietary restrictions .The tour was comprehensive, thoughtful, and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to spend a day in Kawaguchiko. We learned so much and had a delightful time. would definitly recommend him to family and friends.

I live in Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan. I am a certified National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter in English. I acquired my certificate in February 2017. I can guide in the areas of Yamanashi, Nagano, and the Greater Tokyo Area and more depending on your interests. Yamanashi is located at the base of Mount Fuji, so it is easy to visit there. Great views of Mount Fuji and strolling in the nostalgic areas of an old town are available. And also, the snow monkey park is not very far. I will offer customized-private tours designed around your interests, and I will adapt the tours and make them flexible to fit your needs. Each tour will be enjoyable and memorable. However, the hardest part will be choosing which place and what you would like to explore. I am available for consultation should you need it. I was educated in Japan and the USA. I have a Ph.D. in Biology and I did my post-doc career in the US. I worked in the R&D and Quality Control departments in cosmetics companies and I was a laboratory manager for a vegetable seeds company in Japan. I was a research scientist in New Zealand for a short time. I planned the industry tours for foreign specialists and guided them to the corresponding enterprises. I grew Oriental vegetables for commercial purposes for a company in the UK. I was a rice cultivation assistant in Africa as a member of the Japanese Peace Corps. I visited Iran, Iraq, and Syria as a member of a goodwill mission organized by the government. After retirement, I have been a tour guide. I accompany guests on offshore trips from cruise ships. I can arrange walking tours in the Aogihara Forest area including lava caves like the Ice Cave and Wind Cave, and also strolling tours in the nostalgic town of Yamanashi.
