I'm Yukiko. I'm a Licensed Tour Guide and a Registered Nurse. I've worked as a guide since 2015. Thanks to increasing repeat, referred and new clients, tour guide is my main job. I was born and raised in Tokyo. I am 3T lover- Travel, Tea ceremony and Traditional and modern arts. I am a mother so that I'd be glad to welcome families with young children. I used to teach Japanese cultures to elementary students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 at local and private elementary schools when I lived in Canada, United states, and New Zealand. My happiest moments with these children were when they look forward to another lesson every week. All lessons were customized and prepared after discussing with each classroom teacher. It was a challenging job, but this experience broaden my horizon and prompted me to become an English tour guide. My main tour area are Tokyo, Kamakura, Yokohama, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Gunma and Nikko. It's a private personalized tour so that I'd be happy to discuss about it with you in advance to make your tour pleasant. We can include Japanese cultural experiences if you'd like. I also have done virtual experience on Amazon and company events during the last 3 years pandemic. I took the plunge, it was definitely a great step and enhanced my guiding skills. I have a license of Registered Nurse and a Medical interpreter. I've still worked as a nurse during the off- tourism season so that I've kept a medical back ground. I've experienced to do several tours for mobility challenged clients who have intractable disease and have a difficulty for a long walking. Mobility challenged customers (cane/wheelchair) are always welcomed. I'd love to make your trip meaningful and unforgettable. Please feel free to contact with me anytime.

Enjoy not only Guided tour but also Professional photo shoot in Kyoto! "Hi, my name is Koichi. I am a licensed tour guide specializing in Kyoto. I can take memorable picture of you by using my own authentic camera and lens. Photo shoot experience is included in guide fee. I have a great love for Kyoto City, from its major tourist attractions to some of its lesser known, tranquil and peaceful sites. I would be glad to conduct the tour according to your interests and share with you my knowledge of the city's rich history as well as its cultural and seasonal events. Since both my high school and university days were located in Kyoto, I know not only all the city’s shrines and temples but also great local restaurants that serve traditional Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price. As an added bonus, I am an experienced, award winning photographer and I would be happy to take photos of you during the tour with my DSLR camera and then email them to you after the tour. Additionally, I love motorcycle touring as my hobby and I enjoy taking pictures of Kyoto’s beautiful landscape. Therefore, talking about and showing off Kyoto’s scenery with my guests is one of my pleasures as well as explaining the traditional Kyoto culture. My native city of Otsu is famous for Lake Biwa which is located just 10 minutes train ride from Kyoto station. It is not only an ideal location for the easy access to the ancient capital city but also for having an amazing visitor’s viewing location. Therefore, whether you are wishing to explore Kyoto’s traditional heritage, sample the fantastic food that Kyoto offers or take a trip off the beaten path, I am the guide for you!

Hi lovely travelers, I'm Serge, originally from the Netherlands, and Japan has been my home for over three decades now. What brought me here initially was love, and that love has kept me rooted in this beautiful country ever since. Along the way, I discovered another love: Japan itself. Following my stint as a radio jockey and TV presenter, where I co-hosted a dedicated program for the Nagoya Grampus soccer team, I transitioned to a behind-the-scenes role as a media fixer for international media outlets. Though my job as media fixer, I've been traveling and working throughout all of Japan, exploring unique places and meeting lots of very interesting people. I would love to share and make you, my dear traveler, experience these places as well. Visiting and getting a tour at Japan's oldest traditional vinegar maker, or experience and taste at a traditional "katsuo bushi" bonito flake maker, or do you prefer to visit some old local shrines or temples. with no-one around you, except for the crickets and trees. Maybe you just want a friend to bring you to your desired locations and interpret and be at your beck and call 24 hours (like I do for the media). If you're looking for flexibility (time, places. transport), you won't find a better match than me. My work as a fixer taught me a valuable lesson: the key to traveling together successfully, lies in a blend of humor, professionalism, and adaptability.

I'm Hiroyuki. I was born in Osaka, central city in western Japan, and when I was college student, lived in Kyoto, previous capital of Japan, and now live in Tokyo, current capital. I have worked for a global company for about 30 years. Working with international members gave me the opportunity to communicate with people with different cultures, and sometimes the opportunity to guide the spots of interest to them. I found it interesting to show Japanese interesting spots to the guests, such as the wonderful things, strange things, mysterious things, marvelous things. For the past few years, I tried to improve ability to communicate with people from abroad. Recently, Japanese history intrigued me. I’m really into finding historical places, local favorites, and unique systems in Japan. In the tour pages, I am introducing tours in Tokyo and tours in Kyoto and Osaka. I include the orthodox sightseeing places. However, you could also specify some unique local places. Information about local spots and local foods such as Ramen, Udon would be interesting to you. Please contact me and let’s talk about your itinerary specially made to order. I’m looking forward to hearing from you and to seeing you in Japan.

I was born and raised in Osaka, so I’m a true local! I love traveling—both around Japan and overseas—and discovering new places, cultures, and of course… delicious food! In addition to being a guide, I also run my own office as a certified labor and social security attorney in Japan. Thanks to this professional background, you can feel assured that I’m a trustworthy and responsible guide who can flexibly arrange tours to fit your needs. Before starting my own practice, I also worked as a tour conductor for domestic bus tours, traveling all around Japan for a year. This experience gave me the chance to visit many regions and learn how to take care of guests in different travel settings. I can take you on food tours to hidden local bars and restaurants loved by Osakans, or guide you through Japan’s rich history with visits to shrines, temples, and castles. Whether you want to experience Osaka like a local foodie or dive into cultural traditions, I’ll create a tour that’s perfect for you. I’m also a photography enthusiast, so you’ll get some great photos taken by me as a souvenir from our tour! Let’s enjoy Osaka together—just like locals do!

Thank you for visiting my page. Would you like to discover the 1300-year-old charm of Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto with me? I grew up in Osaka, studied urban transportation planning in Kyoto, and worked as a national and local civil servant in Tokyo and Osaka, dedicating myself to creating safe and comfortable cities for residents and attractive places for tourists to visit. These three cities leveraged their water transport networks—sea and river—to quickly deepen international exchanges, and served as imperial palaces from the 7th to the 19th centuries. Here, you'll find numerous tourist attractions cultivated over many years, from famous landmarks to hidden gems, traditional festivals and events, and old townhouses that offer a glimpse into the lives of the local people. As a licensed guide and interpreter, I find meaning in sharing the charm of Osaka, Nara, and Kyoto with many people and making discoveries. The three cities, including their international airports and ports, are all within a one-hour train ride of each other. Each city boasts excellent urban transportation. Within a limited timeframe, I will create a customized plan tailored specifically to you, efficiently visiting your desired locations and maximizing your purpose and interests. Why not explore this charming ancient city where nature and urban landscapes harmoniously blend throughout the seasons—from cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, vibrant autumn foliage, and snowy winter scenery? I look forward to hearing from you.

My tour is to explore Korea’s unique cultural identity and beauty, based on simple-but-elegant beauty of Confucianism! Center of tour is architecture. Architectural style represents spirit of times. We can see as much as we know. For example, without knowledge about Christianity, the spirit of medieval Europe, we cannot fully appreciate beauty and value of Romanesque and Gothic architecture, but are just fascinated by its superficial beauty. My primary tourist destinations are focusing on Seoul and metropolitan area, consisting of Gyeongbokgung palace & Changdeokgung Rear Garden, Jongmyo Shrine, Bongeunsa Buddhist temple & Sunjeongneung Royal Tomb, Bukchon Hanok Village, National museum of Korea, War Memorial of Korea, other museums & galleries and contemporary architectures, and Namsan Mt. with N-Seoul Tower, traditional & trendy market places such as Gwangjang market & Hongdae street, and COEX-Starfield library in Gangnam area, and also Korean Folk Village & DMZ tour in neighboring cities. Alongside, I am specialist for hiking to Bukhansan Mt. and Inwangsan Mt. that are located in downtown Seoul, where you can enjoy beautiful natural sceneries and stunning view of Seoul. With my hands-on experiences and deep knowledge of Korea's culture & history, you can discover true insight and delight in Korea. Thank you for your interest! As your guide, I hope to see you soon in Seoul!
