The tour starts at Plaça Catalunya, where each child receives a map to guide them. Designed for ages 6–13, it offers a fun and educational walk through the Gothic Quarter, discovering landmarks, stories, medieval characters, legends, and local traditions adapted to their age. The 2.6 km route lasts 1.5 hours and keeps kids engaged through an interactive map activity. It ends at Plaça Sant Jaume. Each child receives a small gift and can take their map home to color.

Plaça de Catalunya

- We will meet in the center of Plaça Catalunya to begin our tour.

Fuente Canaletas

We will enter the Old Town to discover the city’s most famous fountain for locals in Barcelona.

Placa de la Vila

After a short stop to try traditional nougats, we will walk through Plaça de la Vila to visit the ancient Roman necropolis.

Roman Acueduct

We will see the famous Roman aqueduct to better understand the impressive engineering skills of the Romans.

College of Architects

We will make a short stop in front of the College of Architects to see the mural designed by Picasso, one of his few outdoor works.

Barcelona Cathedral

We will see the famous Barcelona Cathedral, which is over 600 years old.

Casa del Ardiaca

We will learn about the Casa del Ardiaca after passing through the gates of the ancient Roman city.

Placa Ramón Berenguer

We will learn about this important historical figure from Catalonia to better understand the history of this place.

Caganer Statue

We will meet the famous and much-loved Catalan character, the Caganer, where children will discover an important part of Catalan culture.

Placa del Rei

We will visit this famous square, which was the administrative center and for many centuries the place where the kings of Barcelona and the counts stayed.

Augustus Temple

Will see the remains of the temple.

El Call

After walking behind the cathedral and passing Plaça Sant Felip Neri, we will arrive at the oldest part of the city, the Jewish Quarter, El Call.

The Ramblas

After crossing the famous La Boqueria street, we will return to La Rambla to see the iconic Umbrella Building.

Joan Miró Mosaic

We will walk on the famous mosaic by Catalan painter Joan Miró and briefly explore its history.

Liceu Theatre

We will walk down La Rambla, passing in front of the famous Liceu Theatre, where we will briefly explore its history as well.

Placa Real

We will arrive at this famous arcaded square in Barcelona, the only one of its kind, to see Gaudí’s street lamps and continue our tour.

Ferran Street

We will walk along this important street as we approach our final destination.

Sant Miquel Square

We will pass through this square to see a sculpture dedicated to the castellers, a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and an important part of Catalan culture.

Sant Jaume Square

We will finish the tour in the city’s most important square, Plaça Sant Jaume, where we will see both the Barcelona City Hall and the Palau de la Generalitat. Here we will understand where major decisions are made and meet the city’s final guardian, one of Barcelona’s most beloved figures.

This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Recommended tour for children aged 6 to 13 years. Children under 4 years old do not need to purchase a ticket, but please inform the guide if they will be attending.

As this is a children’s tour, the recommended times are early in the morning at 10:00 or between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. These are the ideal hours, as later in the day children may feel tired or hungry. We strongly recommend booking within these time slots for the best experience.
