Fields of Lavender in Spain

Maybe you know the famous fields of lavender of Provence in France. But in Brihuega, a little village no more of 60 km from Madrid, we have the same fields. Lavender blooms in July and it is a spectacle of color and smell. We will discover not only the fields and we will make a tour in this historical village.

Visit lavender fields
We will visit one of the numbers of lavender fields to feel the flower, smelling it and enjoying it. I like to escape from the crowds, so I select some special fields.
Visit Brihuega
We will visit the historical village of Brihuega to enjoy not only of its buildings but also of its special purple decoration of its streets and squares

-. Lavender's bloom is only from last week of June to last week of July but you can visit all year around.
-. I recommend wear comfortable shoes and fresh clothes. If it is possible white color, it is better for the pictures with lavender.
-. Wear closed shoes and long pants to avoid the contact with the insects of the fields
-. Use cap or umbrella and solar cream.
