Meeting Point
Puerta del Sol
- Puerta del Sol is the main square in the city. As is a big place the best meeting point will be close to the famous statue of 'El Oso y el Madroño'. The statue of the big bear 'hugging' the tree. As is a very central location usually you can get there by walking from any hotel in the city center or by Metro or Taxi. Here we start with the introduction of the tour, we'll explain the history of the square and the traditions during new years in Spain.
Plaza Mayor
The historical Plaza of Madrid. We will speak about the traditions held in this plaza and the famous statue of Philip III.
