I'm Kazumi. I am a qualified tour guide.I have been guiding Hiroshima since 2010.
Through guiding Hiroshima, I can give my guests my knowledge of this area and Japanese culture. At the same time, I can learn their understanding of Japan and the differences between our culture and theirs, which is very interesting. I also believe that meeting with local people is the best way to know the area. I was born and grew up in Hiroshima. I am very happy to give you wonderful time and memories in Hiroshima. I am really looking forward to hearing from you.

“Great tour by Ms Kazumi”
My family of 3 took 2 half-day tours with Ms Kazumi. One to the Peace Memorial park area and the other to Miyajima island. Ms Kazumi, being an Hiroshima local, explained the history very well and with great sensitivity. I highly recommend her as your guide.

“A most enjoyable tour ”
My family of 3 thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Ms Kazumi. It was fun taking the street car and ferry to Miyajima. Quite fascinating to see the deer (very mild and not at all aggressive) at the island. The torii gate was beautiful and looked as though it was floating in the water. Ms Kazumi gave us lots of interesting information about the religious meaning of the place. She is very pleasant and so easy to strike up a conversation with. We liked her tour very much.

Kazumi was a great guide that allowed our family to have a quick view of Hiroshima and the neighboring islands. Very knowledgeable and flexible with the items we were interested in learning more about. It allowed us to spend the couple following days in Hiroshima with more purpose. Would certainly recommend as a tour of Hiroshima.

I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.
