“Truly amazing day with Kuzumi, Go with Guide tour!”
We had such an eventful and memorable day with Kuzumi on our Hiroshima World Heritage tour with GoWithGuide. From start to finish, everything was wonderfully organized, interesting, and enjoyable. A highlight was visiting beautiful Miyajima Island and exploring Daisho-in, a historic Shingon temple nestled at the base of Mt. Misen. It was absolutely spectacular — peaceful, filled with hundreds of statues and prayer wheels, and much less crowded than many of the larger tourist sites. Kuzumi shared so much history and cultural insight that we would never have appreciated on our own. Seeing the famous floating Torii Gate and visiting Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was unforgettable. The scenery was stunning and Kuzumi paced the day perfectly. Lunch was another fantastic experience. We enjoyed Hiroshima’s famous soul food — okonomiyaki — at a wonderful local eatery. The combination of cabbage, bean sprouts, pork, egg, and noodles layered on the thin crepe-like batter was absolutely delicious. The historical portion of the tour was deeply moving and incredibly meaningful. In the Peace Park, Kuzumi carefully guided us through the history of Hiroshima and the first atomic bomb used in human history. Visiting the hypocenter, the Atomic Bomb Dome, the monuments, and the museum gave us a far deeper understanding of the tragedy, resilience, and hope that define Hiroshima today. Kuzumi explained everything with knowledge, sensitivity, and compassion. Kuzumi was knowledgeable, friendly, organized, and spoke excellent English. We truly felt we experienced both the famous highlights and the deeper cultural and historical side of Hiroshima and Miyajima. Highly recommended!

“Hiroshima History with Kazumi”
Kazumi was amazing! One of the best tour guides we've had while sailing on a Viking Ocean Cruise ship. She was very informative at all of our sites and was able to answer most questions. We spent a lot of time at the Peace Museum where she had more information than was given at certain points. We saw the big Torii gate in the sea. We weren[t able to visit the Itsukushima shrine becase of time constraints. She introduced us to Okonomiyaki (hiroshima soul food, layered pancake) for lunch. It was very good and quite an experience watching the counter workers chop up the veggies and egg in front of the customers. She speaks English very well and had been very thoughtful throughout the tour. I highly recommend!

Miyu F.
My name is Miyu. I have been a Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter since 2009. I began my career as a tourist guide last year after working as a public servant for nearly four decades. I worked in the Atomic Bomb Survivors Support Division for 12 years until I retired from the local government, and I continue to interact with Hibakusha. Therefore, I have a lot of knowledge about A-bomb survivors, the reconstruction of Hiroshima, and the effects of radiation on the human body, which I can correctly convey to inbound visitors. I have experience in tea ceremonies and calligraphy and am especially good at guiding visitors through tea ceremony experiences. I love to watch baseball games, so I enjoy talking about them with guests from countries where they are popular. I am a volunteer medical interpreter and can respond to visitors' sudden health problems.
