“Tour of Hiroshima with Kazumi M.”
Our day with Kazumi was the highlight of our trip to Japan. We caught the train from Osaka and Kazumi was at the exit waiting for us in Hiroshima. As a local, Kazumi explained the dreadful event of 6th August, 1945 in great detail. Walking the area gave us a real understanding from a Japanese perspective. The beautiful Miyajima Island was another wonderful part of our day. Catching the ferry over with Kazumi and wandering about was fun. Anyone who wants an indepth tour of Hiroshima, contact Kazumi!
“Excellent Day with Kazumi on Hiroshima”
I had messaged Kazumi prior to travelling to Japan to see if she could arrange a tour for us as we were set to the day we would be in Hiroshima and arrival time due to trains. She sorted out to meet us at the station and planned an itinerary which gave us time to see the main sites as well as spent time learning about the history of both Hiroshima and Miyajima. She guided us around the transport system, took us to an amazing restaurant for lunch and told us so much not only about the area, but herself, family and life in Japan. We got on really well with her, she is warm, friendly and very easy to talk to. Thank you so much Kazumi for spending time with us today and making our day in Hiroshima one we will always remember. Best wishes to you and your family Neil, Kirsty & Sam

“A Day with Kazumi in Hiroshima.”
My family truly had an amazing day in Hiroshima and nearby Miyajima Island with Kazumi. We now have such an education and appreciation for the horrific story of the bombing. Hiroshima have done so well recovering and helping others learn from their resurgent story. Kazumi’s background knowledge and thoughtful itinerary made these learning personal and unique. Despite the very hot weather, and after a tasty local lunch, we managed to visit Miyajima which is such a spiritual and beautiful place. Thank you Kazumi for spending the time with my wife, boys and I. It will be a day we will cherish and remember. Daniel.
