I'm originally from Shizuoka prefecture which has Mt.Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan. I took 2 working-holiday-visa stays in my younger days. One is in Toronto, Canada, and another is Australia touring by motorcycle. One year respectively. I love travel both international and domestic, especially by motorcycle. That's why I love helping individual travelers rather than normal package tours, cause I myself love travel freely. I love nature, gardens, trekking, greenery, cycling and motorcycle. I love to take you to the off-the-beaten tracks where I love in Tokyo. As a national government licensed guide, I've got deep knowledge of Japanese culture and history. Lake Kawaguchi is the most popular place to view Mt. Fuji. I will take you to Arakurayama Park, which is the most popular place to take the picture of Mt. Fuji with the Pagoda. We will take a direct express train from Shinjuku in Tokyo to Lake Kawaguchi to avoid the traffic jam by a highway bus. The place is now overcrowded with foreign visitors so I will choose places not so busy yet. In case of unfavorable weather to view the mountain, I will propose other places.

“Group Outing to Mt Fuji”

Exceptional doesn’t describe our experience with Macky. When I booked our tour with him, he guided us through the process of booking Shinkansen tickets from Tokyo to Mishima (a group bucket list experience) and helped arrange a private bus for our group of 12. He met us at the station with a huge smile and provided not only great detail on the locations we visited, but also on the culture and customs of Japan. Macky was so great we joked that he had arranged for fantastic weather and an I encumbered view of the peak of Mt Fuji. The memories of the day will stay with us.
