“Highlight of Our Trip!”

Our family had the absolute pleasure of having Tomoko as our guide to see amazing views of Mt. Fuji and the Hakone area. Tomoko is super friendly, wonderfully personable, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. Her English is superb and she was the perfect addition to our family day trip from Tokyo. She made sure to keep us on schedule so that we could see as much as possible and yet was accommodating and flexible when we requested last minute changes to our day. She also took us to a fantastic local place for lunch where we were able to adhere to our dietary restrictions. Our driver, Miasan was also punctual and friendly. Thank you Tomoko!!

From the time you contacted me, during our planning process together, you clarified your wishes and questions, which made it easy for me to make suggestions. I wish I were better with numbers and could answer Uji's questions about real estate, but as I was talking, I lost track of how many zeros there were. I’m grateful that Miasan helped me a lot about that and others besides driving:) I wish you all continue your pleasant trip and have more memories to share, and I look forward to seeing you again in the future when you come back to Japan. Not only is she a distinguished repeat Mt Fuji climber, she is extremely knowledgeable about the area and all its wonderful spots to really enjoy, view and experience this naturally beautiful area of Japan. Yumiko is responsive, highly flexible to your needs, speaks excellent English, and genuinely embody the best of Japanese warmth and hospitality that makes you feel you are with a close family friend. We are thankful for her care and guidance which made this an unforgettable momentous highlight of our trip. She truly is the best Fujisan guide!

“Great service!”

I booked this ride because I made the mistake of flying into Shizuoka from New Chitose rather than Haneda to go to Fujikawaguchiko. I was at a loss of how to get to the area since it would’ve taken 5 hours and the possibility of missing the last bus. I found gowithguide but was nervous using this platform to book an airport shuttle service for the first time. I read reviews from other websites like jayride that drivers don’t show up but Soq quickly put my mind at ease. He was so communicative and honest. He had wonderful response time when communicating via messaging. He was honest of a fair price which is totally understandable for the long distance he drove. But he deserved every cent! He was so communicative and sent me pics of updates of where he was leading up to pick up. He got to the airport very early for us to make sure he didn’t get traffic. He was very informative and had great tips. Great conversation for the 2+ hour ride. So friendly and kind. I’m very happy that our money for this service went to someone so kind and that provided wonderful service. If ever I’m in need of shuttle or guide service in the area I will gladly book Soq again. Thank you for everything!!
