Hello! I am Joji. Please call me Bonjoji, because Bon Jovi is one of my favorite Rock music groups. I was born and raised in Kyoto until 19 years old. I studied English and graduated from University of South Carolina with Statistic major. During my work at a precision equipment company, I have lived in California and New Jersey in the states for 12 years. While I was in the States, I have been treated as a family by many local American people. So, it is a time that I treat you back well while you are traveling in Japan. The period I like in Japanese history is the war period when many local lords were challenging and fighting each other to expand their lands. I recommend that you should see their castles, since you can see their ambition and their survival strategy. The sports I like are American football and Sumo. Sumo is not just a wrestling game but deeply rooted in Shinto ritual, which is closely related to our daily life. These are the things I can talk about more when we meet. My hobby is visiting old ruins in the world so that I have been to Vesa Merde in the States, Macchu Picchu in Peru, Easter Island in Chile, Volbilis in Morocco, Tikal in Guatemala, Angkor Wat in Cambodia and etc. I have worked at the Japanese company as a salary man for 35 years, so that I can also talk about business, only if you wish. Anyway, I am National Government Licensed English Guide Interpreter authorized by Japan Tourism Agency and my goal is simply to make your journey more enjoyable while you are in Japan. Please feel free to contact me and let's enjoy the tour together. I love outdoor activities and I am always inspired by the nature and culture of our country. Tokyo has been the center and the capital of Japan for more than 400 years. The city is built around the former residence of shogun, now the Imperial Palace, and has gone through damages and recoveries. It is a very modernized city and continues to add new attractions. I would like to take you to some popular tourist attractions and show you around our cultural tradition that has been ingrained in our lifestyle. Japan

Hello! I'm Kozo. I'm currently living in Chiba, which is one of the biggest cities in Japan and located in the suburbs of Tokyo. So, I can guide you to the sightseeing spots in Tokyo and the suburbs, which include Asakusa, Nikko, Kamakura, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, and more. In those places, you can experience traditional Japanese culture and beautiful sceneries. I'm originally from Kobe, one of the major cities in the western part of Japan. So, if my schedule permits, I may also guide you to the attractive spots in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe. I took a Master's degree in chemical engineering at the University of Tokyo and an MBA degree at the University of Massachusetts. I am a professional engineer in industrial engineering, an industrial safety consultant, a registered management consultant, and a licensed guide-interpreter. I have been working for a Japanese chemical company for many years. So, if you are interested not only in Japanese culture but also in technologies and businesses in Japan, I may be a good company. :) As a part of my job as an engineer, I often travel outside Japan. The countries that I visited last year are Singapore, China, the United States, Mexico, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Among them, Singapore is my frequent destination. Also, in the past, I visited Spain, Italy, England, France, Hungary, India, Canada, Korea, Taiwan, etc. So, if you are from one of those countries, you may ask me how I felt when I visited your motherland. :) Okay, thank you for reading my self-introduction to the end. I hope I have a chance with you!

Hello, My name is Katsunori, a national licensed guide in English. Just call me “Fuji-san”, the same as Mt. Fuji-san. I worked and lived abroad more than 15 years mainly in the United States, Australia, Abu Dhabi, China and Malaysia. During those days, I communicated many local peoples and felt a lot of different cultures and thinking ways. I was interested in this multi culture circumstance. I also visited many places, some of them were on business purpose, and the others were as private travels. Visiting new places always gave me new discoveries and deep impressions, and I really like these feelings. I would like the visitors to Japan to feel such impressions, and I would like to assist them – this is the primary motivation for me to be a tour guide. One of my hobbies is trekking. One of the travels that made an impression on me was a mountain trekking at Nepal. I trekked 4 days through the hills over 3000m in Himalaya with mountain guide. Another nice experience was the trekking of Jungle in Sarawak island in Malaysia. The guides explained the natures such as plants, flowers, butterfly and insects of those areas in addition to the trails in both cases, and I really recognized the importance of the guiding. If the guides were not suitable, my memories on the travels might not be so nice. Japan is really beautiful country. It has seasonal beauty according to the four clear cut seasons. The natures with historical buildings are beyond description. I really hope you, visitors, receive great impressions during your stay in Japan. I can arrange any kind of tours – from half day city tour to mountain trekking. I will customize special tours for you with proper recommendations. I am looking forward to hearing from you!!

Highly Recommended!

Our family wanted to deal with an owner-operator directly - and we are extremely happy to have Masato-San taking us on our journey! He was very responsive from before our booking, and planned the schedule to suit our needs (travelling with 2 elderly and 1 younger kid). He was knowledgeable and knew where the best spots were for group photos. We will definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly tour-guide.

Everything is perfect

Ms Chinami is the best private tour guide we have ever met. She is very friendly and her English is good. She has tailor-made our itinerary according to our preference, and has shown us the most beautiful scenery near the Kawaguchiko area. We had very nice local lunch (Houtou noodles and tempura) and visited some good souvenir shops too! Everything is perfect and we are grateful to have Ms Chinami with us! Thank you!

Chinami N.

Thank you very much for such a nice review! I am so happy that you had good time in Mt Fuji. We could see all day long and just nice weather. I am also glad that you enjoy lunch. As you know Mt Fuji are is huge and we just went to Lake Kawaguchiko area this time. I would like you to visit another four lakes. Depending on season, you can see different flowers and events such as fire works. I hope we see each other near future. Thanks again. Good luck on your job! Chinami

Thank you for your great review and all your kindness, Ron-san! Im so happy that all your group members enjoyed their time, experiences, and FOOD! Im positive that you've created that atmosphere through all your efforts to make your tours fruitful and fun. Im amazed some of them made friends with local youngsters and had fun with them! Looking forward to working with you again:)
